    Well i just logged in just for the lols with the red dot and the server is running but chat is not working

    Stuff happens, seems to be back up now. Good thing I took a nap...lol I didn't even know it had went down. Just came to read the forums when I seen the red dot on the launcher...it let me in to play, but I assumed they were having problems.

    Server status being red does not necessarily mean anything. Check the thread in General.
    If you've come to the forums to complain about the AFK system, it's known to be bugged at the moment.

    Our servers are coming back online, but you may experience slight log in delays, and our global chat is offline. We hope to have these issues repaired soon! For now you can log in and enjoy! Thanks for your patience and have a happy new year!

    If yesterday's patch is responsible for today's outtake, why didnt it happen yesterday already after patching?
    Or is this a slow spreading bug, growing until every pc is infected?

    I'm in the game now. It's sort of working. So far, Chat and the Exchange are still down.

    Here's what they aren't telling you/us:

    The hamsters were replaced with Epohh Elders just prior to the winter event. Starfleet Dental got word of it, "liberated" the Epohhs, and traded them for fleet marks.

    Has anyone considered the possibility that the server itself is rebelling against the current situation with the Breen Raider and Cruiser not unlocking an account-wide discount like they're supposed to when claimed?

    that post saying servers are comeing back on line was clearly premature server is still not back online over here in this crapy little island we call the hell hole of the world aka england for new years i just want to get drunk and blow stuff up

    Server is working fine with the exception of chat from down here in Australia. which is odd actually because we are typically the last to get anything worldwide (exaggeration, yes)

    Yeah chat is still down. and for some reason it also says i have no friends too. which may or may not be true lol

    STO does not show up in the drop down list for games to add Zen. (Don't see Champions or NW there, either.) That can't be right.
