Yes, I've felt it too. It's as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror over 'Specgate', and were suddenly silenced, and put behind a 300 sec time-gate. :P
People were posting 17X faster than intended. It is considered as an exploit, and several post have been deleted.
This is just RIDICULOUS...was the intent to cut down on flaming postings? It's having the opposite effect..so uncalled for. Are there any other MMOs having the same forum posting cooldown timing?
If there are ANY changes can at least have the decency to ADVISE posters of the change instead of an STEALTH change.
Last time I'd seen this sort of crackdown on an MMO forum, it didn't really end well for the game. (Granted, that had more to do with what was done to that game than what was done to their forum, but it was a pretty good indicator of where things were going.)
