    Still same 25664664 error here as well, no joy from patch, no reply from my ticket.


    Had considered getting some keys while they were on sale but if i can't get online don't need keys i guess.

    You both clearly mean Perfect World Entertainment, or as I prefer to call them at times like this: Imperfect World Entertainment.

    Maybe PWE should hire me for their QA Department, since I have done QA Testing for about 6 years now.

    You clearly mean they should never, ever, under any circumstance, hire you for QA - since you can't possibly have read the posts you THINK you're talking about.

    If you were qualified to do any kind of QA, you'd know I said and MEANT "Cryptic" through having done the reading requisite for someone ensuring quality.

    I believe this is the second time you were presumptuous enough to try and change what I've said. I would appreciate you not attempting to do so again.

    You don't know me well enough to try that, and if you did you'd know that I always mean exactly what I say , so you wouldn't have bothered in the first place.

    25664664 Error is not fixed which is also a ctd graphics issue caused by S9 patch

    Well, it's not always easy to figure out exactly what people mean over the internet, since you are unable to see their facial expressions or body language, nor can you hear the tone of their voice.
    With that being said, I did not change what you typed, I merely hit the "Quote" button and added my own comment.

    If I did quote you once before and changed what you typed, I sincerely apologize. I honestly don't remember doing so, however, since I usually only visit the forums when the game is experiencing downtime due to problems or maintenance.

    As for the PWE/Cryptic thing, I had heard that PWE had taken over/bought out Cryptic and then dissolved the company, making it so that it only existed in name.

    I want to make it clear that I am NOT trying to start any arguments. I only want to clear up what I honestly feel is a simple misunderstanding.

    Happy for you.. no joy for me.. still crashing on "graphics have been reset", still no reply from them.

    Tried killing cache/preferences files, verify.. no verify.. quicklaunch and other suggestions in previous posts.. nothing working for me.

    Well you can't always expect them to reply

    But in either case, there's no doubt they're working on it

    I have crashes when loading star map an gets fatal error while creating 2d render target texture size 6144 x4096 (rtex_nxidia_intz). then the game closed. Do anybody know what this means????? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad:

    Hello, I have not had the time to check out S9 until today after the patch.
    And it looks like I won't check it out despite having the time.

    I'm one of those who get to the "Legacy of Romulus" screen and then...it's dead.
    The screen briefly flashes and then my Windows 7 tells me that the game client has crashed.
    Reinstalled the game but it didn't help either.

    S9 was a short experience for me then.

    This time I had no problem with the game.
    But it resetted all my graphic adjustments and now everything looks pretty... you know, scheisse

    Although I have played about 15 minutes since S9, there has been not really that much interesting stuff added to the game and the Kit and Tailor changes are just a lot of clicking and clicking.

    I still can't get into the game after the most recent patch. I reinstalled Arch and the Game. Please help thanks. I get the following Error Code

    Fatal Error: Direct 3D driver returned error code
    (DXGI_Error_Device_Removed) while checking sync query.

    Technical Details:Sync query 6 0x13b4f90 GetData = = 0x887 a 0005 0 NF 454
    D3D11 Device removed due to DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG 0x887a0006

    I found a way to "fix" the crashes. It's an old trick I remember from Neverwinter Online.
    By the way, I am not using arc. Cant help you with arc.
    Here is how I successfully logged in and played STO:

    1. Login with your account-name/email and password.
    2. click on options. select "Safe mode" and save
    3. click "Engage"
    4. STO will start in a window.
    5. Click on "display" in the options menu. choose fullscreen and select the resolution.

    It seems that all the display and graphics settings are reset.
    Set them however you want.

    After doing this, you should be able to exit and successfully restart STO without entering safe mode again.

    Thanks a lot for the suggestion. Although it didn't work for me, it did finally get me an error message. Here's what happened:

    Logged into launcher (not ARC).
    Hit options and told it to start in safe mode.
    Loaded and went into options and display.
    Switched to fullscreen.
    After fullscreen loaded, changed resolution to 5760x1080 @ 120Hz
    Game loaded at 5760x1080 @ 60Hz
    Clicked to change the refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz (this is an old problem pre-S8)

    After clicking to change the resolution, the menu did not come up and my sound immediately stopped. I could hover my mouse over buttons and options and they would highlight, but I could not click on them. When I double clicked something, the game exited with the following message:

    Fatal Error: Direct3D driver returned error code
    (DXGI_ERROR_NOT_CURRENTLY_AVAILABLE) while SetFullscreenState
    failed changing display mode

    Technical Details: 5760x1080

    I've never had any problems before the ~55MB that was released immediately after S9 (didn't have any problems with the initial S9 launch) on 4/23.

    It appears the problem I had has been "fixed" with the latest patch.
    So far, anyway...

    Not fixed for me. Mine still crashes as soon as I hit engage. It appears Im going to miss the only day I had to play this week :(

    Tried the Safe Mode version... same thing still happens (white box and all) :/

    But hey, would gameplay proxy help? What does it do, exactly?

    No clue, since we have had NO word from Cryptic on forums. As for me personally.. sent in their error ID in a ticket with my stytem information the day of the patch... other than the standard autoreply.. nada.. zip.. zilch... so lacking the courtesy of a reply... hope is about all i can do... since I can't play STO...

    But we don't necessarily need their word that it's a known issue, because it likely is already being worked on. Plus the dev tracker shows they do post on these forums (we simply can't control where and when)

    Sto works now for me.

    But I worry for the rest of you guys that still can't play with us. :(
    I'm hopeful that they will try to fix these issues for all of you.

    I can finally get in. Sadly, the lag is so bad I can't control the camera or even move across a room. Still holding out hope though.

    Game is working for me again. It runs unexpectedly good and fluid, just like before s7. I only lagg on ESD,and the lagg is pretty bad. But the space and ground maps are all fine. Im runing an old laptop. Pretty cool. I hope nothing breaks

    Tried updating drivers, running in safe mode, windowed and full screen, verify or not, fast start and normal start, deleting cache/pref file. Rebooting and trying again after each activity.

    Did finally get a response from cryptic.. sorta... told me to try updating drivers and run game in safe mode. /facepalm... (helpful to some I suppose but had already tried same w/ no result)

    Game ran smooth up to 5 mins before season 9 patch and refuses to run after. Although I have no evidence of such, I have the feeling some change they made is conflicting with something on my computer but lacking any idea what "Error ID 25664664" means, I don't know what to look at to change, fix and/or work around.

    Just finished patching and didn't fix anything for me.
