That is too complicated, nerf it so I can be more competitive!
Fine.
DHCs can fire only in months with an R in them. Phasers on the third tuesday of every 2nd week. Disruptors on the 3rd Saturday of each following, unless its a leap year. All other energy weapons need permission of general consensus of no less than 6 players or 12 NPCs, unless a Bolian is present in which case its 3 players or 6 NPCs.
Torpedoes must have the address of the intended targets pre-stenciled on its casing prior yo use and all mines must whistle Hi-Ho Hi-Ho as they travel to target.
More changes to follow as soon as new ideas are approved by a council of NPcs and paper work is signed in triplicate with the pink copy going to Marge in accounting.
well maybe thats the problem. they just dont have whatever it takes to get the job done, so they hope to have the aa somehow brought down to their own level of playing.
Tbr ad TS are the way... how is what they have to learn. If they can't, then they should play pve only.

Playing STO spamming FAW is like playing chess using always the computer's suggested moves
If they bring the factions just a hair closer together so that I can run PvE with my KDF and still be with the rest of my fleet, I'm pretty sure I'd come back just because it is getting to be embarrassing wearing this blue flag...
My Karp could use dusting off... and I did get the Vet ship... Come on, Cryptic... Let me queue to everything with everybody already so I can actually play this game again...
I once again match my character. Behold the power of PINK!

Isnt this a moot discussion since PvP is now co-op? Now any team can have a AA player since any team can now have a mixture of players.
Quiet Roach, you should know better than to use logic on this thread. Hell, again, my own posts earlier in this thread have pretty much all been ignored, rather 'conveniently' at that.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Yes, how dare you mimey post your expertise and knowledge based on years of playing here!!! Shame on you!!!
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.

as long as we feds keep using cookie cutter builds the klinks has a right to use aa, i dont have all energy weapons since i have one cutting beam and know when to avoid the aa but there will be dumbass that sees aa and goes ape **** using nothing but energy weaps. calling it op is calling kettle black as our cookie cutter builds are op as well 5k dps pure energyweap aux2bat/faw build. we got what is coming to us as kdf found a simple solution and it apparrently takes a brain surgeon to figure out to use non targetable torps against the aa. i say let the kdf have aa as long the cookie cutter builds are around there should be aa along the ride
BTW, running a Tau Dewa Daily in Gamma, and noticed that Aceton ASSimilators have been given quite a buff. They now actually 'hurt' when they hit, and can strip shields and hull very quickly ...

I presume you are fighting NPCs using Aceton Assimilators? Or do you mean you are using them yourself and they have gotten a buff with the season 9 release in some form or fashion?
If you mean NPCs using them, well...NPCs always get a buff on anything that they use. If you mean players, well, I'd be curious to know how they changed.

I was refereing to the NPC version ... I just wanted to point out my own observation, that along with all the other "un-announced" changes to NPC's in STO, It seems AA's have been significantly "buffed" ... I don't know if that change was passes on to players or not ...

From what I've seen, my own personal ones do not feel any more powerful.
That said, that new universal console that boosts radiation damage most likely would boost them.

I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p

what about andorian and retro phasers?
But now also feds have the plasmonic leech and it's enough to counter the drain of several AA.
Double tr and use the gravimetric doff an you will light the sky with tr every 45s... up to 4 tr and your opponent cannot destroy them...

You're implying that people who stay here long enough learn things?! INCONCEIVABLE!
Sharing means caring. Or did you not learn that in kindergarten?
Give the KDF some of those cute little Vestas and you can AAs, Battle Cloaks, and all of the other KDF tech the other feds want.
PS: Sharing is for the weak.
I unironically support this. Make it happen Cryptic.
