On topic, how many new players will have just installed the game last week now come back to a completely different ESD and think "Did I really just miss all this last week?"
I'd be surprised that they hadn't heard of the changes going on, but atleast I think they'd be pleasantly surprised.

For a game based on Trek, they sure don't know how to become known as miracle workers like Scotty told LaForge.

It started a bit less than 3 hours ago and that is season9 we are talking about, so let them take the time they need to get it deployed properly <cough>

Not a huge deal if it is extended. I was outside in my garden for an hour already and I have to say it felt good to get some sun and fresh air. Go outside for a walk! Your body will thank you for it. Have kids? Take them as well!

Hey LaughingTrendy, though I realise it's not exactly a queston directly relevant to this thread, could you please check whether the mirror Nova will be able to use the Rhode Island skin?

Well they could tie it to Arc and have it unlock a costume a day for your account for the rest of the week, I am sure fans would be happy, even those that dislike Arc since the notion of free stuff will get a lot of people to try anything.

Wait... I shouldn't have cried foul so soon. It suddenly finished the ~5 GB lot and it's now patching a small 127 MB (currently at 20%), but it's going slooooooow.

Mine went from 0 to 95% in about 15 minutes, but now it's stalled there.
I wish I had kids or wife/gf for that matter

The mirror skin works on my FAE, so you have a good chance at it.

You know what they say, be careful what you wish for.
Mine patched without issue. It stalled for maybe 20 seconds at 95% as well, but completed just fine.

Not gloating or bragging, my patch stalled also at 95% then just completed ten minutes later!, be patient everyone.

Time to start this Rodeo lets hope the server does not buck too hard and throw us all off time and again :P
