Scheduled Maintenance (6AM - 10AM April 22, 2014) [Complete!]

We have 16 pages worth of Patch Notes coming soon (poor LaughingTrendy, she is stuck in Formatting limbo) for our maintenance tomorrow for Season 9!

We want to alert you that tomorrow's Season 9 launch maintenance will begin at 6AM and will continue until 10AM PDT. (click here for your timezone)

    oh, Come on. We both know this is going to take more than 4 Hours....

    What time do the Featured Episodes and Everything Start... 1:00PM EST Again?

    Patch will take 4+ hours and then the usual server armageddon that accompanies season updates will be unleashed and cause 1-5 more emergency patches or "server stability updates". With all the random disconnects these past few days, it wouldn't surprise me.

    Will Season 9 fix the whole "Unable to assign some duty officers to the active roster" (despite the fact that they're already on the active roster and sit there untouched because of that, thus there should be no reason they can't be) and accompanying "Unable to equip some items from the loadout" errors...

    Or would I be better off expecting a six-lane highway between Hawai'i and California?

    (It's a little annoying since I hadn't even known this problem existed until it started popping up while playing a foundry mission this evening...)

    Season 8.5 may have caused server downtime almost a full 24 hours. But post-Season 8, some players were having multiple issues even being able to launch the game without crashing, for several weeks. One wonders how many of these crash issues will return in Season 9.

    Y'know, we should have a big frackin' party at ESD. Just party away at ESD until the sun comes up. Because God knows we won't be coming back to ESD until at least Wednesday XD

    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    No, it'll take 4 hours, then the server will crash after about 2 hours, and it'll take them another 3 hours to get the server back up; followed by daily server maintenance for the first two to three weeks.:eek::D;)

    Are you sure it is 16 pages, not 16 posts? 16 posts is still alot, but 16 pages is hundreds of lines.

    I really am glad the Season's on its way, but I do have a couple concerns:

    There were some pretty serious bugs on Tribble regarding respawn points (Undine Assault: Gornar), Battlezone resetting, Improper rewards (Undine Infiltration: Elite), and a recent issue with Mark packages not generating rewards. Were any of these fixed in last minute adjustments before this goes live?

    The trick is to do the new reputation daily as soon as the server is up. Then you're all set for later in the day when the server crashes and burns.

    Cheers for linking a time converter (I think it's the first time I've seen this, and I've played quite a few MMOs). And I'm looking forward to reading all those 16 pages of patch notes :D

    Ah, so is this the reason I have been DLing a 7000+ kb patch?

    Despite the Undine Failbox, this is actually a really good list.

    Well done, Cryptic.

    But I'm still pissed about the Undine Failbox.
