March 31st? So... April 1st for Arc to become mandatory? Well, pretty good date for a joke of an app...
I guess I'll be moving to Steam on that date as well.
The article says the item goes away on the 31st... not ARC becoming mandatory..
I noticed the blog say it was account bound and can be moved around, but not state it is account unlocked once opened...

I believe the shuttle is character bound since it's a Lobi Store ship, just like the rest of the Lobi Store ships.
I was thinking the same thing, and would like to know this as well. I've got shuttles, so not hurting for one, but I need to know if I must choose a character to unpack it for.

Edit: Shpoks was faster on the draw...I didn't think about it being a Lobi ship, that's a good point.

I like it.
Yep, unlike the 300 Lobi version of the Shuttle - this one can't be sold, the box is Bound to Account.
But one can still look at it as a 320 Lobi "gift"...go with that average of 4-5 Lobi per Lockbox, I lean toward the 4 personally - that's 80 boxes, which in turn is:
8x 10-packs of keys (1125 Zen each) or 9000 Zen.
(9000 Zen @ 129 Dil = 1,161,000 Dil)
8x 10-packs of keys (19,393,000 EC each) or 155,144,000 EC.
In the end, obviously though, the value will vary from player to player. Personally, it would have more value if there were KDF playable Ferengi. (Just saying, Cryptic - just saying.)
IMHO, if Arc was worth its weight in salt, Cryptic/PWE wouldn't need to be making all of these offers/bribes to get people to d'load it.
Not nearly enough to bribe me away from Steam.

There is something you can so if you want people to keep using ARC. Since the game knows if you are logged in with ARC then why not make an ARC Passive trait.
Give it:
+5 to Sif
+5 to shields
+5% Crit Severity
+0.5% Crit Chance
Make it disappear if some one logs in without arc. The player base will use it on their own accord.
