It would have been nice to know that this would be recieved automatically and bound to my account BEFORE I logged into a character in the game. Now because I'm a f2p scrub babby my super awesome gift is bound to a character other than my main, and I have no way of transferring it since I can't buy access to an account bank using zen.
Umm, you can email them to yourself...

Actually, if I understand right, "technically" you have a "zero slot account bank". Therefore, you should be eligible for the "10 account bank slots" available on the C-store for 1,000 Zen.
Now, if you were to subscribe somehow (sign up for one month at $15, get a functioning 30 day code from a game box somewhere, etc.), you get 20 "free" account bank slots, and can expand even farther with those 1000 zen packages...
And so another trip to the Arc-bearing barely runs STO desktop in the house for me...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

I was suggesting that they give people a trait while using arc since sto can tell if your using arc or now to give things away. These items once you get them you can either uninstall arc or if your like me your using a virtual machine log in to get them and then shut it down. a trait I was thinking would entice people.
They were posing a hypothetical question: If by running Arc you got to have a passive trait buff you while you were running Arc, would you commit to using Arc?
Intriguing, but it'd have to be a big enough buff to cancel out the current debuff -5% to my CPU in concurrent processes that it'd running.
Just to confirm, Brandon, the shuttle will be in a box that's account bound. Once we open the box, moving the shuttle onto our ship list, we won't be able to move it again, correct?
You mean like you would have known if you had actually read the little short blog about this first you mean?
Seriously, people can play a game with lots of text, but not read a simple blog entry for themselves?
Reading is UP! Buff reading!
The blog that is easily skipped over because I'm set to auto-engage as soon as the game is patched and verified, and as such don't look at the game until I'm ready to select a character? The auto-engage that is an option in the base game menu?

Thanks.
Has any ship in the game ever been movable after being opened and added to your ship list?
Hey.. now that's what I call "good timing".. I wanted to get one off the exchange this week (for my D'Kora), so that's really great -> many thanks!! Christened the ship "Quark's Treasure"

I think the point of thegreendragoon1's question is that the shuttle is an individual boxed item, not an account-wide unlock like the C-Store ships/shuttles.

I'm actually kind of surprised that there isn't a "used starship" dealership run by some shady Ferangi. It'd be neat if you could buy ships for fleet credits / dil that you were going to buy anyway, but they came with the names / paint jobs of previous owners, and any non-stock or bound-to-character items that the person may have left on it when they "sold" it. You'd still get your first rename and customization free of course, but it'd just be neat to get a random name and paintjob from another player. :P
I decided not to spend a single cent on STO as long as it is not clear if I will be forced to use Arc somewhen.
If I will be forced - good bye. I will never ever install a Steam like software on any of my PCs.
If I will be able to choose until end of time. Shut up and take my money.
They have already said several times, including in this thread, that Arc will eventually replace the Cryptic launcher, at that point, if not sooner, your options will be to use Steam or Arc or Not Play.
I'm on Mac OS. You have a Mac client released, but there is no Arc client for Mac OS. Thus, I feel discriminated against.
I guess I'm requesting for your special offers to be shared across all the platforms you claim to support. I'm not complaining against the promotion of the new tool, but it would have been nice to keep the rewards on a lower level, so that the people who physically cannot take part don't miss out too much.
That all said, I'm very glad a Mac client even exists. The ability to play this game at all is wonderful, and that far outweighs a bit of gear.

See, that sounds like the 10Ft pole I'm looking for.
However as a Loom smashing Luddite I got no chance of doing that.

20.
/10 char
The blog says 20, as does the first post in this thread
It's OP and FTW
No, unfortunately -- account bank only for "account bound" items.
Cheers,

Ubisoft forces people to use their client even over Steam.
Thanks a bunch or 20X

What passive trait
Braaaaaaaaaandon... :P

But, is this working the same way the Khan outfits did?
Do you have to sign into all characters, or is it the first one you sing into it you get it.
And if you want to send it to other characters, sign in with the first character again?
Sorry for being dense about this.

Yeah, I mean, we've got until the end of March. Why not hold out a bit longer and see if they sweeten the pot still more.

Not everyone reads the blog posts the second they come out, let alone before the load up the game. Just bad timing for him.

Raptr profile
Once you open the requisition you cannot move the ship.
I'm sure I'll find some small use for the shuttle, I suppose.
