THIS IS MADNESS
Where is the mirror event!??
I spend over $800 on this game for what? So you can remove not only the mirror event but ALL THE EVENTS?!
SOME OF US HAVE CHARS TO LEVEL! HOW DOES THIS BENEFIT US?! SHAME! SHAME!

    They need to put mirror in queue list permanently. Also elachi defence. There are no fleet action for romulan marks that's worth doing atm.

    It's not removed. It's now a weekend event that will happen at random. Also, you can level just fine using story missions and queues. You don't need to constantly run Mirror events to reach 50.

    Im sorry i dont plan on running those BORING missions for the billionth time! I want the events back!

    Why wouldnt I complain? They removed something that was in the game since I started playing! A completely irrational decision!

    A lot of things have changed since I started playing, and I mean A LOT. Saying a decision is irrational is kind of pointless given that you can justify nearly anything w/ logic given the right definitions and premise.

    Also, your $800 is chump change to what a lot of people, including myself, have contributed to this game.

    Things have changed because they kept adding things, now they removed a perfectly functional part of the game that never should have been removed! Why would they do that? Why are you people okay with this?!

    There are a million and one things to do in this game to level characters. A million and two, counting the Mirror event which has been moved to random weekends.

    No I wont shut up! the point is that THE MIRROR EVENT DIDNT NEED TO BE REMOVED OR PUT ON WEEKENDS ONLY or whatever! not just the mirror event, but all the others, where is the bonus marks event? memory alpha?!

    Oh really? They've only added? What about those old Borg STFs where you needed to actually go to the system to enter?(To be fair, those missions changed into the STF's we have today) The DS9 fleet action? The old Excelsior console that improved power efficiency? Need I go on? Mirror event was more of a convenience than anything. It's easy to level a character without it, and it's also not completely going away. I don't see the problem with that.

    They're also weekend events.

    First Bonus Marks weekend is schedules for the 20th Feb. Before that, starting on the 6th of Feb there's a bonus Dilithium weekend.

    Do the same missions over and over for the 50 chars you can have on one account, and you begin to hate not just the missions, but life itself.

    By and large, most people aren't. But at the same time, we haven't even seen what the Weekend Events are going to be like. So it's best to reserve final judgement until that time.

    Totally agree with this. When Legacy of Romulus came out, I ran maybe 1-2 Mirror Event runs with some fleetmates and leveled my new Romulan character to VA in less than a week with just regular missions. You really don't need it.

    Mirror wont be a weekend thing its going the same way as tour of the galaxy becomeing a daily mission with high reward they are just remastering it a bit thats why its MIA right now. listen to the Priority one podcast for the low down on its info don't Rage until you get all the facts.

    That's your opinion, and as to why people are okay could be because they don't see it as a huge problem for the events to be removed. Maybe it's because they don't have the same thoughts as you in regards to the events.

    I probably gave the wrong impression with the post you quoted, so I editted it. But in any case, just to clarify, throughout my entire leveling process I ran Mirror like at most twice. Everything else was just missions, majority of them story missions, and a small number of patrol-ish stuff. Hence, minus the Mirror, you may just have like...an extra day added. That's nothing.

    I am in the same boat as far as wanting mirror back if only as a daily wrapper that gives you an hour to complete as much has you can. I don't like the idea that it used for leveling instead of playing content. My problem is after you reach level 50 and played the content and still have the reps and starbase projects that call for XP and you have no decent way of earning it at end game.

    It costs approx 45k XP/day to do the reps on one toon. Mission replays usually award 4k per mission... that's 12 replays for one day per toon. I don't care about dilithium from it. Ultimately I would like to see all end game content giving decent XP so you don't have to chase it down and do things like Mirror in the first place. I hated waiting for the stupid event. Any other game awards XP for playing content regardless of the content. I basically have put on hold reputation on 8 of my toons until something changes.

    Psh, please. I only have 2 50's, one of which I only geared with blue drops. I only have one tier of reputation done across four characters, and that's only because the first week of Season 8 was so busy.

    Who the hell creates 50 alts with the intent to max them all out? There are only two factions and three possible class combos.
