Basically from the looks of things it will work like the past Crystalline Catastrophe event where you get 1 item per day and contribute 14 of them to the event project. The rewards look similar to the last CE event, i.e, 50k dil, 500 fleet marks, 250 choice of marks, and a doff. I hope this is coming real soon. I could use that dil on my 11 characters.
I just like the zerg aspect of mirror invasion. Some runs are fun with strategy, but Mirror is fun for just going out and blowing up a bunch of stuff. I hope they don't change the mirror event much. I also liked that there was no CD before queueing again.

I'd quite like to see the Mirror event (re)added permanently after this in much the same way as the Crystalline event works. Would be nice to get a 'choice of' box allowing you to choose between extra XP or extra dil. Something like that. Maybe give it a 30-50 Fleet mark reward too?

Simply put we need a way to make expertise for the massive costs of the rep grinds and item prices. At T4 reps you go through 40k per day, 46k for T5. Please give us Mirror event back, either as an hourly or as a run like CE is now with a 20 or 30min CD on it.
I know its the "bonus weekend" but I for one am moving this weekend, so I will be missing almost all of the event and knowing Cryptic it wont come around again for at least 2 months.

My rep is finished, I have just about used what expertise I had to do so. But I havent even finished the Jem'Hadar storyline yet, I have loads of Expertise left I could earn.
The Mirror Incursion event (aka level-up event) is being rebuilt. Expect it sometime by September.

Season Nine is Slated For April 2014 as Stated during the PrimetimeUGC Interview with CaptainGeko. During this Interview he stated that Mirror Incursion was being completely rebuilt from scratch. I would Expect Mirror Incursion to return during Season 9

I dont know how you did. O.o When I get a toon to 50 and after settling in boffs and such. I have around 150k to 200k expertise. That is no where near enough for all 4 reps.
First off, I agree with you entirely. I am completely DRAINED of exp on all of my toons, and grinding 15k a day on a character I'd rather not be playing is painful.
Secondly, I'd bet that it'll return during season 9.5.

Go to your reputation tab, click on Events on the left, then click the info button on the right. It's all right there. No date when it starts, but I imagine it won't be for a while.
Thinking about it, the event probably won't happen for a few months.
Cryptic said something about redoing the event from scratch, thus making a completely new event. And that takes time to do.
It's probably gonna be like the Crystalline Entity event; the CE event was removed from the game to be reworked and they didn't bring it back for a few months. Then when they brought CE back it was for a limited time with a special event reputation project that gave us a big reward. Then CE went away for a little while again so they could make more adjustments to it. Keep in mind that was a few months just to rework the event. For mirror invasion they are redoing the entire thing.
Also keep in mind: how many months ago did they remove Terradome to be "reworked"? Haven't heard a damn thing about that for a really long time.
I suspect the info in the Event reputation tab was not meant to be released yet.

I'll give you a scoop that we have a new large event in the works for March. Details won't be released until after the anniversary event ends, but I'm hoping players will enjoy it.
I just hope that their redone version doesn't add in a competitive reward thing, where top-DPSer gets something nice and everyone else gets vendor trash. It was so much nicer having something where you work with your team instead of against them, where being The Best didn't matter so long as you enjoyed the round.

I would love to see a queued event that gives out a guaranteed purple mk 12 to the person with the highest team healing.

That figures. It looks like the info was removed in today's patch. Now info for event reputation only has the option "What is the event reputation?". All the info for the mirror invasion is gone now.
i just checked in game and there's no info on this in the info tab of event rep
perhaps this is on tribble server?
and if it's not there either...well then i'd defer to Senator Vreenak's appraisal in that regard

It was live on Holodeck actually. That's where I took the screenshot. Read my post above this. As I said in my OP, someone in NoP Public Service channel mentioned it. I was in that channel trying to get a guest invite to a fed starbase so I could get elite type 10 shuttle pets for my Gal-X. Didn't get the pets yesterday, but managed to get an invite today, though I decided to go with the yellowstone runabouts instead.
I haven't seen anything on Holodeck or Tribble yet.
