It really bothers some people that this fake - the game sucks thread - gets more attention than the 'real' this game/cryptic sucks threads.

alright, that hurts my eyes to look at, but between the trolls, the PuGs, and the fact that cryptic has either run out of idea enough or watched Jurassic Park one too many time while playing with toy ships and dinosaurs, the end result of this being the whole "Season 8, Come back to see all the new shiney-shiney, stay to fight the dinosaurs" shpeal...
Haveing said that though, now i have the strange urge to find a place that sells toy Star-Trek ships, buy a couple different ones, get me a bag of plastic dinos and see how entertaining it could be with a little imagination.
If they don't make toy Trek ships, they should, it'd be a cool thing to put on a shelf somewhere, and could possibly inspire new ships for all factions. not to mention the idea as a toy. Not everyone comes home after work and plops out on the couch in front of the idiot box.
Eh, maybe that's too hardcore trek for most people, who knows.
If it were not for the 'Star Trek' this game would have no appeal. If there were a second STO as competition then perhaps this game would be better. Honestly, you take the Star Trek Skin off of this game and make it a generic 'Space Game' and nobody would pay for it, though many would play for free just to have something to play.
Just one thought to send to the public personalities associated with the game, in 50 years time, you do realize that your names will be associated with the downfall of Trek, your children will be haunted by your failure to do right for the Star Trek reputation, that history will remember your names as willing participants in carving up the carcass of a once great societal inspiration. After all Star Trek has done for the world, you would be willing participants in its downfall. And I think that you know this already, yet you persist in your actions, for a paycheck, for a few silver coins. There are better ways to earn money.
Star Trek has been canceled before, and those who canceled it are reviled in history. Look your children in the eye after you have killed this version of Trek and tell your children it was for the best.
