Well with each big update for the last two months 10/3 and 11/12 this has happened. So I am betting that with the winter event, we will be right back here. Same trek channel same trek time.

I've been having trouble with this game since the patch on Nov. 6th...have been trying to complete "The Other Side" mission only to encounter numerous crashes. Basically I can't target "The Guardian" because my graphic's for that npc are missing but everything else it present, I have tried the repair tool 3-4 times and reinstalled 2 times already.
Now I get a fatal error serializereadopen: invalid signature on file ./localdata/bin/dynsequences.Bin WTF did this game suddenly hit a black hole?

So I had started a fleet a month ago yesterday.
I don't "random invite", and cringed, the few times
I've posted a recruiting message in zone chats.
A recruiter, I am not.
And after the latest crash, I am seriously considering making it a private fleet.
But, as I am a Persistent Officer, I have updated the sites fleet log today.
Just thought I'd share:
Whereas I can log in to the game with my severely underpowered laptop,
I can't actually play using it.
For example, it takes 15 seconds for the "Inventory" window to open,
3 seconds for each single letter to appear in body of a fleet mail.
(Typing the word "Sucks" takes 15+ seconds to actually appear).
For these reasons,...
It would be best to send me an out-of-game email if you would still like to join.
If it takes more than an hour to send a fleet invite, (ui on the laptop),
I'll load STO on a friend's pc (20 miles away), to get it done if necessary.
Quite frankly, if and when I'm able to get in again, the first text I want to see is...

Looks like Branflakes is out of their morning meetings. So far, we still got no fix but they are just getting started this morning so let's hope good news comes later today and they rush a fix out before the end of business or do a little overtime to get it out.

Well it may have taken a while but I can finally play STO again after a major hassle! 64-bit OS FTW! Hope they fix the issue soon with the launcher but for those who can I'd recommend switching to a 64-bit OS (Win7) here - and it works perfectly!

So are they actually trying to fix this it's going to be a week that I am not able to log in??? Any other GAMIE COMPANY would not have let this happen but it seems to be a perfect world and Cryptic Norm now. Roll out a product full of holes and only care that we get the greater % in the game. I have been with this game from start i have a Life time sub and I feel like I am being repaid for my loyalty to the game and cryptic by being treated like a second rate nobody.:mad:
