Romulan Senate Robes color palette issue:

The top and bottom of the Senate Robes look like they use the same palette, but they don't.

In the picture below I have selected B11 for the gold "dots". You can see them on the sleeve, and the collar, and on the bottom of the pants.

On the pants the dots are washed out looking. So while you can select B11, and on the palette it looks like the same color, it does not look the same once applied.

Also, the main color of the pants is D2 which should be the same green that I picked for the top.

Here are some tailor bugs that I reported when Legacy of Romulus was beta on Tribble and reported again when Legacy of Romulus went live on Holodeck. As of this writing, they are still present on Tribble.

    Linked colors in the tailor

The colors of different costume parts are sometimes linked. For example, changing the hair color sets the eyebrows to the same color, and vice versa. On males, the first beard color is also linked to the hair and eyebrow colors. I have noticed this behavior on the following boffs: human male, human female, alien male, Klingon female. Note that this bug may be related to the boffs themselves rather than just the tailor. The bug doesn't affect the captain or the boffs you acquire from the Federation tutorial and "Stranded in Space".

    Tribble ticket ID #38,649

"Save Outfit" button saves corrupted file

One of the "Save Outfit" buttons in the tailor saves a corrupted file. Loading the corrupted file reverts the settings to defaults rather than loading the saved settings. Note that there are two "Save Outfit" buttons in the tailor; only one of them is broken.

    1. The broken "Save Outfit" button is the one next to the "Exit" button in the screen with the outfit previews.

    http://i.imgur.com/MpXr1LT.jpg

Also, the "Load Outfit" button next to the "Exit" button always seems to be disabled.

    2. The working "Save Outfit" button is the one below the "Head", "Body", and "Uniform" tabs in the costume editing screen.

    Tribble ticket ID #39,295

Extreme close-up in saved costume file

The tailor saves costume settings as a JPEG file that also shows a portrait of the character. After Legacy of Romulus, the portraits saved by the new tailor are extreme close-ups zoomed in on the neck.

Tailor shows armor parts for uneditable boffs

The tailor erroneously shows armor parts for uneditable boffs. In order to see this bug, you must have the armor visuals enabled.

Finally, the Soft Boots are being added back into our uniforms. It should be implemented in tomorrow's patch.

I'd like to report another issue with the Korath uniforms. When using a Gorn with bare feet, the pants don't reach all the way down to the feet. There's a noticeable gap where you can see through the character model. This gap doesn't exist with any other pants type I have used.

I found more examples on my LibRom of boots without actual color choice. They belong to the Romulan Klingon set.

Also, found some clipping on the RomKling Pants with other boots, like the RomRepub set. And, a couple spots on the back of the RomKling jacket clip through the back when aiming.

I've found the belt of the basic Bortasqu Uniform to hover around the waist of my Alien girl like it would be a (slightly strange looking) hoola-hoop loop. Also felt like it would be a bit high on the waist, across the lower ribcage. But even if it were somewhere around the belly area, it still would be way too wide.
I haven't managed to get a decent shot of it, yet, where you can actually see the issue.

I finally managed to get some fairly good shots of it. Here they are:

I made some updates to the OP, including adding the resolutions for the Soft Boots and Romulan Fleet Uniform issues (though I have to say, I'm unhappy with the execution of the latter). Now, on to the replies:

    THANKS for this thread. :)

We hope to finally get listened, I'm grown sick of all of the little, but numerous bugs present eveywhere
(not only in costumes, but still).

Call me a fashionista too, but I enjoy this part of the game much more than some other content. :P

    You're welcome.

I was a fool though. I should have put the thread in General Discussion. I might have had a chance for a Dev to look at it. The Art of STO sub-forum is a Dev Ghost Town.

A small problem I don't see in the Patrician's OP: Orion females (at least, possibly other races) can't use the TOS Klingon belt. They also can't combine bare legs with boot feet, something else NPCs taunt us with.

...i thought it was here so people could embed screenshots like in the desktop thread.
This is in the Feedback>Art of STO subforum, which has the description:

Do you have feedback about a uniform? Perhaps a ship's hull plating? Or you noticed a Vulcan design on a Romulan building? Share your feedback here!

So this seemed to be the right place for feedback about uniforms. And it should be. :o

As far as embedding pictures in a thread like this is it becomes too difficult to read... especially when people quote/repost the same pix multiple times. It stretches the thread out too much and then no one will read it. LOL

You're right about the missing TOS Klingon Belt. I didn't consider it to being with and now I'm not sure if that's a WAI or bug. But I did list under suggestions that the: KDF needs more/additional clothing/hair/color options... and one of the given top examples is: Orion Bikini's with Boots.

I could start a whole separate thread dedicated to suggesting more KDF Tailor options. There have already been many over the years (some very good ones, in fact). But I don't feel like running that at this point. So until I do, a brief request will have to suffice. Should another decent thread become active, I might link to that one.

Honestly, I think the missing KDF costume options have been discussed to death by players on this forum. The only way for the developers to not know about them at this point is if they don't read the forum, and we know that isn't true.

So either they're on a list of bugs to be fixed, and no one wants to give us a timeframe (understandable as they'd be low-priority fixes and schedules change), or they're simply not going to be fixed and no one wants to say so. I wouldn't want to deal with upset forum people, either.

I mentioned the Orion belt thing because Orions have a TOS costume preset option, but it uses the more modern belt style, making the absence of the correct belt pretty glaring.

Edit: Also, I was wrong. It appears all KDF female races (not just Orions) are missing the actual TOS belt.

She's not very tall, that's right. Her base height is 4'6", but she has quite long legs (about 4 parts of the leg slider).
(I've seen way shorter aliens, even right now, as I checked, I almost stumbled over one being so short, that it was only as long as the legs of my char - in her short form. Still wonder how they did that - can't get my char that tiny...)

I'll check it out if this also occurs in her tall form. Which comes with a base height of 7'...

    Well, it's the same, there.

I have different costume slots for the two heights - made them mainly because there are some consoles she'd have to jump upon to use them...

Why wouldn't anyone be paying attention? It's been like two days since the last reply and it's linked in my signature!

As for if your complaint goes here? It's as good a place as any, though it's not an official thread, nor can I say if any Devs have/will visit, nor promise that any of the listed bugs will get fixed.

Do I require pix? JPGs are worth 1,000 TXTs as they say. lol Yeah, screenshots often help when dealing with visual issues. I would first gather info/details: What race/gender are your BOs, which uniform options do they have/don't have, etc. Take pix of the tailor with those options/missing options visible. Post them online, along with the other details and open a bug ticket in the game, get the ticket number.

For posting the pix online, I like imgur, myself, but please don't post the pictures directly in this thread, post links only.

The thread probably would have been moved here anyways.

Tacofangs visits the art forum, but he's not a character artist. To my knowledge, there are no character artists who frequent the forums (or at least who posts here). Branflakes should be compiling feedback from this forum and passing it on to the relevant parties.
You're right. The work here is very important.

I've got a bug for you, cropped up when LoR launched.

I have a female custom alien (Fed) that uses the "Reman" ears option. Those ears have disappeared from the Tailor, so I can't change any of her outfits without having to change her ears as well.

This bug exists for all three factions, but only for female aliens. Male aliens still have Reman ears available.

I have opened a ticket with Customer Service (130610-001847, now "closed"), and filed a bug report.

...the paying attention part was more directed at cryptic than anybody here really....

Complaint? - Too strong a word for my taste, I threw it out there more of just to see if it was just me....fix or not I'm really indifferent, the bugs cryptic chooses to fix and not fix...I cannot find a rhyme or reason to it, so whatever....

Eh - they were recent purchases off the exchange, both female...the thing the caught my attention was "bare chest" option  :D...so being the red blooded bubbling crokpot of male hormones that I am, I clicked it and saw it was KDF clothing as apposed to Fedie stuffs....

Having the same problem with my Borg Rom a LOT. Very frustrating. I "fixed" the problem by just creating a new costume, but the same thing happens again after a while. Not even sure what causes it.

My Reman Fed, cannot select any Omega uniforms at the tailor, despite him being T5 rep and having purchased and unlocked every Mk X/XI/XII version of the omega armour set.

If anyone else has had this problem, or has found a way to fix it please share! Its so frustrating.

    KDF uniform parts missing
The tailor dummies in the kdf starbase display a female klingon with a skirt that is available anywhere in the game.
One of the male dummies displays a long coat that also is not available anywhere in the game.

Both uniform parts seem to be part of the Bortasq uniform.
