But it will be really curious to see the malon freighter on STO, for example, or a hierarchy ship (that must be amazing i must say lol). Or the Devore warship... everything except the Vidiian and the Kazon.. for god sake.
I'm really leaning toward the idea that this poll was used to design the upcoming winter event ship.
Krenim destroyer does have a nice ring to it.
As far as i know, there was never a krenim destroyer. Just the krenim escort (but not enough to be a destroyer and with the size of a frigate smaller than Voyager) and the krenim warship.

The Krenim Warship was a Modified Hirogen Heavy Escort in VOY so that would be easy to make in STO, they already have the base model down.
I hate to say it but with Dan being off the STO team and working on other stuff. Anything from his time has no relevance anymore.

The Undine will always be on the list. The companion novel, The Needs of the Many, which came with the Launch of STO is about Jake Sisko writing the "History of the Undine War." The base premise of the game involves the Undine destroying alliances throughout the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. It has always been clear that they are a major force within the game.
I would also point out that this was the second Poll that Cryptic had. The first was to ask which TV series the game should focus on. The winner of that Poll was Voyager - which directly led to the Dyson Sphere and the Voth invaders within it. After the Voyager groundwork was laid this Poll was created to see where Cryptic should go from there - presumably much of this Poll will be in the upcoming Expansion Pack.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
Kinda makes you wonder why they even bothered with the poll at all.
Ask em what they want, give em something else entirely. :P

Would the Kazon really be that bad of a choice? The poll was so long ago, I can't even remember who I voted for but they seemed to have a personal grudge against Voyager and Chakotey.
