I'm not sure I could care less what the reasons are, in all honesty. I've benefitted from this thread, fleeties and friends have benefited from this offer. They're doing something good and useful for the community.
I would like to thank the Nerds of Prey for allowing me to visit their Tier 5 starbase and obtain some of the Fleet items I had wanted. Thank you for this great service.
Sorry, but the NoP is performing a service to literally hundreds of players who cannot obtain these items otherwise without paying millions of ec. It doesn't really matter what the reason is or why the event is happening; the only thing that should matter is who benefits (the players).
I am at a loss as to why your continual posting in the thread is necessary. You can either 1. benefit from it, or 2. let it go. I don't see what's so hard about this, or why you feel compelled to repeat the same thing again and again over several pages of the thread.
I usually just post when someone from Dental makes a jab at Hobo - if this is for the community as you say - why do dental members keep making veiled jabs at hobo - or some kdf fleet does "this" - wink wink - but we won't say who.

The fact that Dental posters are making references to Hobo and not saying this "event" has nothing to do with an ongoing feud tells just as much as if you mentioned them by name.
When a Dental poster says a certain KDF fleet with a fully complete T5 starbase does such and such - it is exactly the same as naming them - as most know that Hobo is the only one with a fully completed starbase.
At this point i don't think it matters any more as you have accomplished your task of cutting off their sales of elite pets - I am sure it was a race and your only regret was that they had a few days/weeks?? to be able to sell them.
i have said all along that I am happy for the playerbase because I don't like the gated starbase system which restricts high end gear only to those with the EC or being involved with a mega fleet.
I am happy to hear that you will keep this policy going and hope you do the same with elite weapons - if you have not done so already.

I've posted before how I took NoP up on this offer. Got some help when I ran into an issue where my Vo'Quv for some reason was not registering, resulting in me not being able to acquire the Qaw'dun BOPs (despite me just using the Vo'Quv in PVP just before entering the NoP Starbase). Anyways, they helped me resolve the issue and I got the awesome Qaw'dun BOPs.
Again, thanks alot for the access on things I otherwise would not have been able to acquire for many months. My fleet is good and we try to pump our SB along, but we're just not a large fleet.
Quick guide to pets so people can see if they have the requirements:
Elite Power Siphon drones, Elite To'duj fighters, and Elite Orion Slavers can be purchased by anyone with any carrier or flight-deck cruiser/escort.
Elite S'kul fighters and Elite Fer'jai frigates require the Kar'fi carrier.
Qaw'dun birds of prey require a vo'quv, either standard or mirror.
Elite Interceptors require the Dacoit flight-deck cruiser.
Elite Tachyon drones require the Corsair flight-deck cruiser.
Armoured Marauding Force shuttles require the Marauder flight-deck cruiser.
If you have any trouble claiming these pets, check your permissions in your fleet, and make sure your fleet has the provisions to buy them. You can also decommission and recommission the c-store carriers to fix hangar permissions, BUT BE CAREFUL. Take all your equipment off them first, and make sure it's a c-store carrier.
But you know what? I guess it doesn't matter now does it? By being allowed to visit their studios Cryptic has pretty much signed off on you and your fleet haven't they? They've said in deed what most of us have suspected for years. They're not going to stop you. They're not going to correct you. You won. After long last, you really, really won. STO is yours and no one is going to do a thing about it. Congratulations.

Are you guys just doing invites for hanger pets? I'm interested in a embassy and/or Dilthium Mine invite(if you've hit T1).
