I judge people or fleets by their conduct towards me. The only thing the event leaders have done to me is to get me my elite hangar pets, so....

Thank you very much ! :)

Having just spent my accumulated 2 million fleet credits on elite hangar pets, (BECAUSE I CAN!) I can vouch for this being completely legit.

Also I feel vaguely bad for laughing at the concept of other fleets fuming about lost revenue >.> Not bad enough to prevent me from taking advantage of this exceedingly generous offer however!

    Thanks Nerds!

Didn't partake - don't need em. Been watching on the starbase for the past half hour, it's legitimate.

Also, if you want some elite disruptors to go with your fighters, House of Snoo can provide.

I want to take this moment to thank House of Snoo for allowing me access to elite weapons just before we opened the doors to our elite pets. Together we can hopefully crush the capitalist pigdogs.

But you know what? I guess it doesn't matter now does it? By being allowed to visit their studios Cryptic has pretty much signed off on you and your fleet haven't they? They've said in deed what most of us have suspected for years. They're not going to stop you. They're not going to correct you. You won. After long last, you really, really won. STO is yours and no one is going to do a thing about it. Congratulations.

Which I must ask, to you or anyone who knows: How much do Elite space weapons cost?

I need to know so I can gather enough dil and FCs to one day buy some from somewhere.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

I'm telling you: don't fall for this. You'll be sorry sooner than later.

    Cheers.

What on Earth are you talking about? Fall for what exactly? They invite to you to their starbase, you buy what you want from their vendor, and leave. Where exactly is the catch? Are we supposed to feel sorry for the "lost revenue" to other fleets? Are you mad?!

To be clear: this is something that is quite common on Fed side. I've seen free starbase invites advertised on several channels on Fed. It's not bad enough that us KDF players have had to suffer through much worse support from Cryptic/PWE, you're saying we have to put up with being gouged by our fellow players?

I had never heard of NoP till now. And honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about them so far. On the other hand, all this "you'll be sorry" stuff, only makes me lose respect for the people posting them.

It was something like ~60k fleet credit and 15k dil. Quite cheap for what they do.

Hey I missed the big kickoff for this event but I'll be popping into Public Service a few times this weekend to spread the word and handle invites.

Enjoy your hanger pets everybody and remember to tell your friends.

Thank you for the access to the fleet pet hanagars!

What's with the intensity with trying to warn players away from the free pet access Star Base? Are there some RL issues going on?

Tested the pets Elite Slavers and Elite Interceptors.
Both are awesome. The Elite Slavers can kill a borg cube inbT'Kanis by themselves, Advanced Slavers can't dobthat not a chance.

The Elite Interceptors tractor beam is perfect for face faster oppentants.

Hah this is great stuff. Wish I had a KDF just so I could say "Yeah I bought this from NoP and I didn't lose a left lobe buying it!" It must be rough for some people who thought they would be collecting the financial scalps of the underprivileged in their multi-boxing shrine of pathetic neckbeardery with triad of dancing pixels. Oh well! Keep up the good work guys. They will fight, and they will win! Equitable treatment for all! This is a true service to the community in general.
Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it. - Bubba

For sure, I don't condone everything Starfleet Dental has done in the past, but this is truly brilliant - you guys are doing a great thing with this, proving a point and stuffing it to profiteers. Kudos all around!

When I attempt to purchase Elite Fer'Jai Frigates, the game tells me that I don't own the Kar'Fi Carrier, and I can't purchase Advanced S'kul Fighters!
I have the ship and all fleet credits, dilithium, and fleet provisions that I need.

Me personally I feel that what should be "Illegal" or a "Violation" of the TOS is "Selling" Map Invitations to anything, Starbase, Embassy, Dilithium Mine, Bridge, whatever...

My hat's off to any Fleet that FREELY gives out Map Invitations to people and allows them usage of their Facilities. If only it was that easy where ships are concerned.

To those of you that "Sells" your Map Invitations... SHAME ON YOU! This is a GAME it's not Real Life, step away from the computer and go outside.

Someone said they discarded their ship and reclaimed it and was able to claim the pets. I'm not sure if lockbox ships have this bug but if it does I will post a way around it if we find one.

I'm inclined to ask the same thing. Are you mad? Have you been playing the game at all? Trolls, Inc. is known game wide for -and they pride themselves in- their constant trolling and griefing in whatever new creative way the game's broken mechanics and exploits allows them to. Going into details here would make for a very long post, so I'll just name a few:

    • Politely inviting people to their bridges then trapping and killing them on loop for HOURS.
    • Blowing up people at ESD for days until Cryptic fixed it.
    • Blowing up people at DS9 for days until Cryptic fixed it. (recent, post LOR launch)
    • Their trademark full-time, ubiquitous trolling in Drozana station.

Dont' believe me? Just take a look at this video. See the end credits. They pride themselves in it.

So for me -and I'm sure for good deal of people in this game- nothing good can ever come from any of them.

I sure wish this "unbelievable good offer" doesn't come back to bite you all in your collective, um... "butts" later on.

I'll just pass, thank you very much.

    Cheers.

Yes, I had to discard my Kar'Fi and claim it back, and now everything is ok. :)

But if your ship is not ZEN one, but LockBox one, if you discard it it will be lost forever!

Also, when you discard you ZEN ships first remmove all the gear that is slotted in them, or it will also be permanently lost.

There's no conceivable way this could ever come back to bite you. It's just not... how the game works. I've been watching people file in and out for an hour or so now, and I've seen nothing but people coming in, getting hangars, and leaving satisfied. Their reasons for offering this, of course, are unrelated. The simple fact of the matter is that you can get free access to the elite hangars, full stop. Nothing more to it.

Yeah, those were good times. I was there for that event. We had developers watching as we did it; their only stipulation was that we didn't use force fields to block the doorways.

Many of the people running the gauntlet had a blast, several actually asking to be invited back after "escaping." That was back during release when there really wasn't any content to the game, but thanks for digging up a 3 year old video of people having fun.
