    I have managed to load the luncher and download the update using my iPhone.

    1, Disable your Broad Band and connect the mobile phone
    2, Login, once its patched launch the game and stop at the player select screen
    3, Change your internet back over to Broad Band and you will be kick out to the login screen.
    4, Just simply login and play the game.

    100% fix

    i have same loncher prob it was fine till 1.30 to day now all i get is little box top left of my tv please fix this or what am i paying a sub for im in scotland so uk as well so please hurry stfs are awating my bistruction

    Same here..tryed every possible solution (getting new up-to-date launcher etc) still unable to make it to the launcher login...:mad::mad::mad:

    This looks a routing problem.

    I'm from Spain, and from my home ISP i cant connect, but from office's connection works like a charm.

    That's not the IP with the problem.

    Although, I didn't check, was just responding to people.. hence my :) get out clause at the end.

    As I've said before, my strongest bet is an upstream load balancer with crappy routing in it.

    100 pages in this forum and all we've managed to do is separate the people who want this problem fixed from the people who genuinely believe their political and social beliefs will make a single impact on this forum. Can't help but laugh at all these morons that found their way into this thread...

    A question have they used a block ports in uk etc via the interchange because when I did test using Three Mobile server I can patch and the game worked and having unlimited internet and tethering i can play but on a 3g server it takes long to load and is a touch laggy

    Now, this might sound like a revolutionary idea, everyone, but if you could possibly...I don't know...stop adding meaningless comments to this post, the devs (or at least NOC staff) might be able to find the problem and fix it faster, rather than having to go through reams and reams of talking heads.

    after trying to tether my phone i just tried an umts-usb-stick. both not working (couldn't get my pc to connect to internet via phone and patching per usb-stick is just the same as per lan ^^ :(...).

    funny thing is: before maintenance i also had problems with loader. but about an hour before downtime it suddenly worked and i played for about an hour ^^....
    then after downtime again no way, except once the loader showed up in wrong language (was in german which is my region, but i set the game to english). in that loader the loading-bar and live/tribble server choice did no show up.

    kind of suspicious :D

    anyone have a look at patch_trivia.txt in the sto-folder?
    running

    will get me connected to the alternate patchserver. Sadly whats missing is the option for the launcher-server.
    STO-Devs, i know you don't like giving out info like this, but is there such an option? And if so, which?

    can't connect via DSL connection as well but it works with t-mobile web & walk stick...the patch is just way to heavy for it.

    In the Loader is says that Cryptic is already aware about the issue and ther engineers are working on the issue.

    So what is the status? I re-installed the game and still get the error message. Is this going to be resolved anytime soon?
