    I'm telling ya, someone tripped over the mainframe plug and yanked it from the wall........the simple solution might be the answer

    Google DNS isn't resolving the patch server. OpenDNS is though. Any idea why?

    Still having this same issue. Can't get into the launcher, can't access the website on chrome which is bs!

    a couple of times when trying the launcher i got a dns error. so this is a dns problem somewhere obviously.

    i have run all the recommended test that you have posted and all my values are with in recommended values i will say however, that i live in texas and i have a fleet mate that lives in oklahoma not more than 3-4 hours away and he was able to log in. the only difference is is that his launcher is thru perfect world and my launcher is thru cryptic. hope this helps you pin point the issue.

    Does anyone here play Halo on the Xbox? I remember some of my US friends saying half of them could not log onto halo when it first started, as the server had crashed and logged the isp address of them people on it at the time, so them players were unable to play on xbox live until it was fixed.....either that or the same problem was with PSU2, i forget what one it was.

    Chances are they've moved the server to a new IP away from the problem network. That means waiting for DNS update. * again just a guess.
