    about an hour before the servers went down I have been unable to load the launcher, I keep getting blah blah blah please check your internet connection, now obviously I have internet connection or I couldn't post this, then 30 mins later it worked fine, and now after patch I cant load the launcher AGAIN, is it just me or is anyone else experiencing the same thing??

    Since the patch my launcher wont launch gets stuck at the load screen then i get prompted to download oracle?

    I am in the US, and I am having a problem.

    UK is not the only country with access issues.

    i downloaded the game as it looked interesting, it updated, i played the intro then it hung at changing level.
    i tried to load it again but it times out
    i rebooted pc and router and the same thing again

    its jan 18 2013, today i try to open up my launcher and its either a small box saying trying to update the launcher then times out or it opens up my launcher but as a white box. any ideas? this happend before server were brought down. its still going on now even after servers came back online

    Well I can finally access the launcher, but the launcher now sais "page can not be displayed"

    Not my day today, first my internet connection fails for more than 8 hours, my glasses break, my coffee cup breaks, my monitor has some issues and now this...

    Man i hate it when computer stuff and especially things relied to the internet just stop working. Even most games of other software today seem to need the internet, even if they aren't MMOs at all, man i hate that.
    And i am not just use the word "hate" as inflationary as most americans, i really mean it!
    I HATE it when some technological "thing" is unreliable or tends to just stop working for no apparent reason. Especially when one thing breaks and short after that another, and then ANOTHER i could get violent, if i wheren't such a peaceful person..... :mad:

    This probably affects most people not sitting directly next to the server, aka Cryptic.
    Seems to be Cogent Co.s fault - they're known for trouble.

    In internet terms I am right on top of the server. And yeah I just found out this started before maintenance while I was asleep. So my money is on the isp blocking access again. They have a history of these issues.

    I'm on Virgin Media, in Scotland. Hope there's some way to get this sorted :) I'm sure this happened before, and it was an ISP along the way that had changed their configuration. Could Cogentco have done something to cause this?

    It's not just Europe. I'm having the same problem in San Diego, California.

    And, like everyone else, my tracert's last connection was cogentco.

    I'm in France, provider Orange, My connexion is ok, but i have the same issue. Cryptic launcher try to connect 1 time, 2 time, then Unable to connect to the patch server please check your internet connexion...

    I can't connect since 4 hours now..

    Chill bro, they're not telling us to fix it, they just want our help clarifying what the issue actually is so they CAN fix it.

    But yeah, I'm still having issues in the UK here. Won't be able to access my computer for a few days starting to tomorrow anyway, hopefully it'll be fixed by the end of that.

    You're not the only one. I've had this issue since last night. It started with horrible lag, it moved on to being stuck and not being able to change zones, then it graduated to not being able to login at all.

    Someone forgot to feed the squirrels!

    startrekonline.com is down, the domain of which I'm guessing was hosting the patching servers, why its down, i dont ****ing know.
