i think saying season 6 is live is probably against some trade description act but i guess "the server has been updated and you might be able to log on at some point over the next few days" doesn't roll off the tongue quite as smoothly
Our latest content update, Season 6: Under Siege, is now live on Holodeck! To read about what you can experience in this update, check out our overview page here.
Also, you can check out the full Release Notes here.
I was able to log on and get to my charcters but when I clicked on one it said my log in que was full and I was number 6934 of 9478 in the que and then the severs went down again.
Let me guess, you're F2P?
If the game was actually working I'd tell you about the joys of subscription, but....
So, like everyone else, it seems, I am stuck at 'Retrieving Character List' until it times out. It kept doing the same and, after, well, I actually stopped counting the number of times...
Thinking it was my computer, I CCleaned, cleared all caches, "jump started" the patch again and, finally, uninstalled and reinstalled the game...twice.
All with the same effect: I am stuck at character retrieval...
I tried the Tribble Server, and...no problems - not my computer after all!
Fleet Commander
Caprica's Revenge (...actually active since November 2010, which may one day be important to archaeologists, but not to anyone else...)

Star Trek Online website is down for maintenance, normal game play is not affected. Hmmm mkay, they're right.. we're all crazy we're really logged in and in a mirror universe where we're waiting to be logged in.. or.. something.
Oh I'm getting bad feelings here... I had just started 3 of my fleets first projects... I just hope that when things get back online I wont have lost what I'd put into it? Including Dil, Expertise/Skill Points, Doffs, etc. etc.

Ha hahaha haha, what a joke, good one guys. Before posting that it's live, why not make sure your customers can log in? Thanks for playing. Fail.
It's dead, Jim.
At least, until they fix the log-in issues.
