You say that like I'm making some kind of judgment. Do you think that myths and legends are less important than scientific knowledge?

Science can tell you how to understand the universe, but you must have the heart of a hero to grasp it!

One must also recognize that without myth and idolotry, science would have never come to fruition. One species may go a more superstition method of learning true science value and meaning than say another.

It just depends on the evolution of percieved civility.....which the Klingons don't have. The Federation in all its travels have based their reactions to others under the guise of understanding the species as what they are. This under the Federations own charter is purely judgemental....not civil.

As stated in ST VI it is a homosapiens only club. Lest we not forget that no matter which road is taken in ones understanding of the universe. A Klingon in all his simplicity is a more pure represntation of balance save the aggresive nature and self destructive behavior. This latter mention is the only thing keeping the Klingons from wearing bunny slippers and sipping tea.

Klingons are the black and white of understanding. No middle ground with them. The Feds operate in a huge grey area for the purpose of their own agenda. Remind you of any current day governments?

I would rather explain the meaning of life to a Klingon than attend a Federation diplomatic get together.

With a Klingon you know where you stand regardless if his beliefs mirror the same progession in universal understanding. thats what makes them so lovable.

Funny thing is... if you work your way down the Klingon gameplay board, topic by topic... there's really only about the same 8 or 10 people posting. I think we may be the last of the last. :p:p:D

Our numbers will grow, we will be glorious in battle, we will wipe our enemies from the universe for the glory of the Empire.

I would point out the episode where Worf tells Bashir and O'Brien that the facts of Davey Crockett don't matter. Only the myth.
And any southerner present would have shouted , " Blasphemer" :p

We don't need no stinkin science...We do fine on our own...If someone gets injured on the field of battle, they are expected to live or kill themselves...that is battlefield medicine...lol...Yup, definitely OUR form of scientific method.

It really is hard to believe how badly the only other faction currently ingame is being ignored.
This game really needs to have a strong and competetive Klingon faction and this I feel should be the No.1 priority for the dev's.
I started a Klingon character some time ago and couldn't believe how little content there was. It is an incredible lack of foresight to have even contemplated launching this game with virtually no content for Klingons.
For my part the Klingons are easily the most interesting race outside the federation and need to have their mission path completed to the same level as the federation before any other faction is added. Of course the quantity of ships/equipment must also be brought inline as well.

Finally an apology from the dev's would be appropriate for the bad way this has been handled...!

Well, you are right but you know as much as I do that they won't apologize for their handling of our side. It IS disappointing that they treat the Klingon side with such neglect. However, you know this is FEDERATION ONLINE...and not Star Trek Online...so, they are only going to do things to bring the federation players onboard. That is sickening....purely sickening....

I find that posts like these are amazing. Why? because it amazes me to think that your dramatic rants about "losing faith" in cryptic would even be dignified with any replies. You remind me of people who leave negative comments on People's Youtube uploads. The only purpose it can serve is to feed negativity. Constructive criticism is more thaaan just complaining. A "good" film critic for example, does not just say "the movie sucked". He offfers "reasons" why he thinks that and tries to bring the reader/listener/viewers to follow along his path of thinking to understand his conclusion. Rants like this, while offering "opinions", are hardly constructive. Imagine you worked at cryptic and you did browse the forums like Dstahl has proven to do. Okay, offer some suggestions, if you "really" have these feelings you have to ask yourself "why am i subjecting myself to this ?" Your like a woman who is in an abusive relationship and is to scared to try and leave it.

It suprises me clueless Feds can find the Klingon forums, yet they can't complete the Crystal Entity.

People are missing the point where I said they are working in a different branch and thus a different code base that has all the fancy new costume tech. This is where they are currently working on all the new Gorn models.

That codebase isn't scheduled to go live until Novemberish.

While I appreciate feedback, making demands doesn't help anyone. If the team is able to add this jacket that a few people will wear, we will.

There was no plan to add these initially and there are currently no plans to add them now. I'm responding as a way to say we'll consider it based on player feedback.

does that look like we dont give a flying f*** about kdf, we never planned to give u anything in the 1st place to anyone else.

Cryptic has given us this magnificent game, and you all complain about everything they're trying to do to improve it and shape it based on your feedback. We all know the Klingon side was released before it was ready, but it's come a long way since release. With every update, STO is constantly improving and Cryptic is constantly working hard on this game. They are working on lots of new content to be added to the Klingons. You just have to be patient. Do you want to give them more time to make their content better, or have them release a whole bunch of content early that hasn't really been worked on. So just appreciate all the great things they have done and just be patient for more content. And before you say that, "oh he's just a fed who doesn't understand what we're talking about." I'm not.

EM YES YOU ARE.. its all fine & well saying wait for content be patient for content .. wtf
if feds were promised content like ships missions & they didnt arrive ****me there be an out cry.
infact with all the feddybears that come on this forum .
The forum would crash & burn or blow up (if said **** happened to there faction like whats happened to the klings) or a should say the lack of whats happened to the klings.

We were promised ships for the end of august as of yet nothing not one ****ing ship
yes the feds get 3 refits at start of season 2 then they get the c store options as well

As i said to another run away home feddybear run away home go stay at your section the people
in hear asking for klingon ships & content have at least earn the right to complain.
THEY (most of them anyways) have ranked at least one toon on the kling side.
i my case just now i play both sides
3 fed toons maxed out to va 3 kling toons maxed to LtG one day i work my feds doing 2 days of daily missions.
next day i do 2 days worth of kling daily missions.

& if klings were to get a fair shake of the tree id not look at my feds.
