I too would like to see the 2nd Anniversary Edition ships remain on the Chart. Perhaps you can skip the picutre (are they even different, visually?), and just put a small "variant" box displaying the title and stats.
Yes, they are visually different. The 2nd Anniversary Odyssey has a shuttle bay where the Aquarius docks and the Bortas has a more permanent fixture where the BoP docks.
These are all very good points. I want to thank you all for letting me know. After consideration, I've come to the following decision: I will be making a new chart containing Shuttles, Cross-Faction, & Special ships (that are no longer available to obtain - like the 2nd year anniversary flagships)
This is what I'm working on getting done:
Adding the Bortasqu to the KDF chart
Removing Bortas 2nd day anniversary ship, Jem'Hadar Bug, Cardassian Galor, & All Shuttlecraft / fighters from KDF chart
Replacing Odyssey (basic) ship shots with Odyssey (c-store) ship shots on FED chart
Removing Jem'Hadar Bug, Cardassian Galor & All Shuttlecraft / fighters from FED chart
Creating new Shuttle / Cross-Faction / Special Ship chart with FED & KDF Shuttles/Fighters & Special release ships + Cross Faction ships

Of course the damn Vulcans and their D´kyr have to be extra annoying and kinda belong on both of those charts.

Okay guys, I've posted the first public version of the Shuttle & Special Ship Chart (see original post for link).
I've also corrected all the links of the original post to go to my other site (spidermitch1.com), since people either 1) can't access the flash landing page (portal)
2) can't zoom in and move the chart around due to Firefox not rendering the iframes across masked domains correctly.
Please let me know what you guys think of the new chart, if you can't access it for some reason, or if there are any errors / corrections that need to be done.

The only thing I don't like about the new one is that there's such a gap for the KDF ships (between the shuttles and the flagship). I know it's not your fault the KDF are short-changed shuttle-wise, I'm wondering still if there's something that can be done to make it look a little more even....
Maybe bring in the shuttles and flagship so they aren't justified to the sides and are slightly more centered?
Oh, actually there's another thing (cuz I'm a jerk nit-picker )... The word FACTION in "Cross-Faction" seems so much bigger than CROSS. I love how you did it in two (Fed/KDF) fonts though (and I expect that's why it looks bigger). Still, it looks funny.

Yeah, I'm working on getting some pictures of the Feringi ship already. If anyone has the ship and would like to help out, please email me some pictures taken from the ship tailor. I will need both the main ship & the shuttle it comes with. Since it's on the Shuttle/Special chart, I'll need the following angles: Top, Front, Side, 3/4 facing down.
Other than the Feringi ship not being there (which JUST came out) you guys like the way the new chart came out? I know I could do something about the gap in the middle of the KDF section, but honestly, rather the gap is in the middle or both sides have an indention, the KDF side only has two little lonely shuttles.
I can take some screenshots of the D'kora for you, however it does not come with the shuttle. Also looks like the universal ensign BO slot is missing from the type 8 shuttle.
I don't think that the Type 8 has any slots, unless I'm mistaken. I remember doing The Vault Friday with a Type 8, and was sad to see it had no slots, lol.
Suggestion for the Advanced Odyssey consoles. Instead of giving each type of console its own line, make each odyssey varient have its own line instead. It'll look a bot cleaner, then the way it is now (and each line will be the same length, rather than staggered.)

I still think the missing shield modify stat should be put on. Its an important ship stat that makes a large diffrence when compareing ships. There is no reference to things like the Odyssey having 15% more shield hit points and 15% sheld regen. Galor 17%. Science ships 30%. Escorts having a low shield modifier and so on. I also miss the shuttles being on the same chart.
EDIT: Not too keen at the bug and Galor being removed. Now I have to open two windows to compare ships.
I see you went ahead and placed the shuttles in a seperate spread sheet like i had suggested :P
tiny request could you place brackets or something on the oddy console slot area...the red/orange/blue kinda blend intogether for me a bit and its a little hard to see (slight color blindness)
so its like [4 tactical icons] [4 engineer icons] [2 science icons]...or even a / between them would help alot for me and im sure some others...
keep up the good work...and i still think you will need to revamp the whole thing anyway...make like a cruiser sheet a science sheet and an tactical sheet...with about 20 more ships in the pipework from now till next year...its still getting rather crowded...
FED Ship Chart:
Hey everyone! I've added the Caitian carrier to the chart (make sure you're refreshing the image to see the latest version 8.14. - 05/05/12) I really like the way the section turned out! If I can ever scrape up enough to buy the Atrox, I'll take some top view pics and replace the Hanar bay hud pics with proper Stalker Fighter silhouettes. For now, however, I just put the Peregrines up there.
I also took the opportunity to break up the Adv. Odyssey console slot count so that they are separated, and looks a little easier to read. I moved the special subclass info to the right, also, so it could match up to the consoles. I did this because some of you stated it was more difficult the other way, plus I always felt like the subclass breakout info should be on the right instead of the left... I think it's looking good now.
Shuttle/Special Ship Chart:
Currently, The Ferengi Na'far shuttle has stock shots Cryptic released of the ship. I received some pics from KingofAll (MAJOR PROPS for getting these to me!!!!). I'll be putting them up there as soon as I get a chance. When I do this, I'll be correcting the HUD silhouette for the shuttle also.

THAT IS SOOOOOO AWESOME! I certainly wasn't expecting a stipend It's very appreciated buddy! My captains are always suffering with below-level equipment cause I'm too busy to go out getting drops & the Dilithium they need to get new stuff. So it's very helpful, Thank you! You'd be surprised how much time I work on this chart-thingy instead of playing :eek:

Oh, and bytheway, there's a wrong dilithium price on Lieutenant Commander FED ships, it is 15 000 dilithium, not 40k (currently on the chart, they cost the same as Commander level ships).
PS: About the shuttle chart, no, I see nothing wrong there except what's already been said: Missing Boff slot on the Type 8 shuttle.

Actually that empty spot is in the Rear Admiral column, so it doesn't really belong there. I had to make another column in the VA section just for this ship.... :mad:
If only they'd fill out the ranks before introducing new things. I remember once when Escorts were lacking choices and the next ship that came out was like the T1 NX... Now they got an extra ship at end-game, yeah that's great, but everyone else has 3 ship types to choose from at RA. Why not make this one an RA ship, so that FINALLY there'd be some balance (pertaining to choices that is) to the ship tiers.
Oh well, I've spent 3 hours working on this thing to add that column, so I got a little peeved. LOL Anyhow, I also added my take on a shield indicator, since cryptic has been sneaking that stat into the latest ship releases. Also modified the impulse HUD stuff a bit. Lemme know what you guys think. It's on the Cait Carrier, Oddy and that new T6 (not T5 cause I STILL think that's completely misleading!) Armitage.

well, that was my mistake then, sorry
and i definitely like the new shield indicator, along with the impulse HUD. i also really liked how the shield bubble was stretched to the Odyssey's larger size my only question is why is the Atrox's impulse color blue instead of red? (or is that how it is normally in-game?)
