At this point all you are doing is making yourself the poster child for a lack of common sense and circular arguments.

I am just trying to get you to see the harm you are doing to yourself at this point.

I have the exact same stance as many others. Fine you don't agree, but don't try to ingore people have been affected by this and it was justifiable. All you are doing is slapping people in the face.

Not really. While companies generally trade within regulations, there's considerable more that do so unethically. All you can do with them, is avoid them.

Microsoft, XBox360, Playstation 3, Fallout, Rock Band, Modern Warfare ... these companies, these games, they all use exclusive in a manner that Cryptic does. And none of them are in trouble in the EU for doing that. None of them seem to be losing much business over that either.

Who's avoiding Modern Warfare because it's exclusives only lasted a month?

that's a good point... now let me ask you something ( it's not against you I'm just trying to bring light in to the picture for the other people. ) did cryptic force you buy the extra copies, or who made the choice to buy the extra copies?

If I had understood that the item should be available in the c-store a few months after my purchase, I should not have bought another copy of the game just to get that item, then I had waited for the c-store release and saved a lot of money.

Why are you bringing trouble with the EU into this? As I said ethics, not legality.

You'll also find people are more forgiving, if a company produces something they want. That's doesn't make what they are doing right though.

that's true I would of done the same, but once again who choice was it to buy. ( just to let you know I bought three copies of the game, so it is safe to say that my items are on the c-store )

Well, I could have thrown them under a bus. :p

So far, you have been proven wrong etc etc etc.

You FEEL you have been misled by Cryptic. Fine, I understand that. However you can't prove that you were misled by Cryptic. That has been shown to you time and time again. Every time you start to falter in your argument you turn to to the determination of law, which has also been shown to you to be wrong. Then you claim that people are making it personal even when they aren't.

There is a difference between FEELING mislead and actually being misled. People can understand why you would feel that way however that doesn't mean that you were actually misled.

Can you please quit this "you've been proven wrong" bit. No I haven't and neither have the others, you just simply don't agree.

I bought 7 copies and the LTS before launch. So, I didn't get the game time but I don't have a problem with them being on the c-store. Here's why. I got to have them early. I got to enjoy them before others did. Now it is their turn. No harm, no foul imho.

yes I did, but that is besides the point. it was my choice to buy more then one game. cryptic did not force me to buy it, and I'm willing to bet they did not force you. ( this isn't against you, I just want to know if you were forced to buy it, or if it was by your own free will? )

Ummm yes you have been proven wrong and so have plenty of others. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it so.

So now you are on an ethics kick? How long before you tell people to stop bringing up ethics even though you always talk about it?

As you can see, I am also one of those that has been completely baffled by your changing of arguments when something isn't working the way you thought it would.

Look, I didn't even start the legal conversation and neither would I support anyone making such a move. So give over.

I can see some of you are just going around trying to side track thread topics.

You are right, It was my own fault, I was desperate of having that object and there for I paid the money.
I was just under the impression that I could not get this item another way, If I had known then what I know today I should not have spent the money but I guess that's how life is.

If I recall you said this was your first MMO, correct? If that is truly the case then you have now been handed the knowledge albeit the hard way that others have. For that, I am sorry you had to learn it this way.

perfect that is what i was looking for. that is life, we all made decisions based one what we knew at the time. for example I bought my three copies knowing full well that this was going to happen. it was stated in the pre-order FAQ that the items will be added to the c-store, and yet I still made a choice to buy the items. it was my personal choice, just like everyone else made their own choice. doesn't matter if it was the CO lifetime, or buying the game boxes. we all had personal choice.

    thank you MrShark.

I have to agree with this. we all had to learn somewhere.

So you're willing to forgive XBox360 for the same thing you won't forgive Cryptic for?
