My character is STILL bugged!

    1. my captain does not hit his COM badge upon beam out
    1a during transport his hair and eyebrows change for a second

    2. My Borg bridge officers skin leaks through her skirt and boots

    3. you can see hair lines beyond the hair on many NPCs and most of my bridge officers

    Sometimes, (big key word there), I can fix this issue by turning "anti aliasing" to maximum, then back down.

    Of course, if you play at max already, then never mind!

    PS Also works sometimes with "tapestries" and LCARS displays that are "clipped".

    Yeah, my borg captain doesn't do that either, it's annoying for what should be a simple fix, they made her stop tapping her arm like a Klingon, why can't they make her tap the com badge?

    yeah for a while he was checking his watch to see what time it was lol

    great issues to bring up, but these have nothing to do with the issue the thread is attempting to resolve.

    our issue in this thread is that our away team is bugged for certain player captians and we are nto able to select or change the team.

    and we are still waiting for a response....

    I do not experience this bug.

    Had to switch around my "team" the other day, as well as add a new Boff to it.

    May I ask for a specific way to reproduce this bug? At least then I can try to help find a work-a-round for you guys...

    alli can offer without typing a book is look at page one and read all the links and this whole thread.
    maybe then you will understand the nature of the issue.

    as far as reporducing? this is an anomoly in itself, seems most of us were just "affected" at one time and no one seems to know why or how it happened. so i am not able to offer a way to reproduce this.

    Hello again!

    So, I'm still digging around. This issue has basically become my personal white whale. In any case, what I need now is the names of the characters that have this issue. Just the character names, no need to provide the handle or account name.

    I'm following this thread (though I don't always reply), so just drop your character names in a mail to me, or drop them here.

    the only one currently bugged for me is: 0011011000111001 - Borg RA5 Engy (yes that is all binary but that is the toon name,less the borg ra5 engy part... lol)

    edit: i also sent you a PM with the same info - just FYI

    No the workaround didn't work. Yes my character is STILL bugged. And I'd appreciate it if someone at Cryptic would actually help me instead of just ignoring the problem and hoping that I'll go away.

    Same issue i've reported a few times as well. Please help my toon!

    I finally thought that maybe promoting one of the Boffs in my "cannot be changed" away team might jiggle whatever bug this is - but alas - twas not the fix I had hoped for. Tristan still can't select any other Boffs other than those he's been stuck with since this whole things started a couple of months ago.

    I have filed two bug reports now, but knowing those just lost in the mire of other bug reports, I was actually hoping that getting this information to the devs/GMs in the thread might help.

    It's still not my main character that's bugged, so I am more patient than I likely would be if it did affect my main - but I have to admit, it's getting a little frustrating. He's about to go into a lot of Reman/Romulan missions and I would really like to swap out an Engineer for a Science Boff.

    Again - the toon affected on my account is

    Tristan McGregor@TerilynnS

    Please let us know what, if anything we can do to help you all figure out why we can't selected away teams...
