    Short term: Playing from Europe it can get quite laggy when Americans log in. So much so that I just bugger off and play other games. At worst I disconnect during what was a painfully arduous and painfully boring mission. I might of completed 6/7ths of this horrendously tedious mission and find myself with the task of starting the entire thing again. Frustation not equaling fun it makes want to return to playing other games where I get a good service and most importantly fun. Short term I'd want to see a change where upon logging in after a DC on any mission I pick up where I have left off.

    Mid term: I'd want to have less lag.

    Longterm: I want someone new to look at the game and make it more fun to play.

    Heres what Id like to see.

    Short term

    greater quality/quantity data samples from ground game, should equate to space samples.

    The ability to Hail Jiro Sugihara from space instead of having to go all the way back to earth.

    Mid Term
    The ability for Klingons to group with federation players in Gamma sector, its long overdue and makes sense.

    More Mini games (Chess/Poker) with PvP functionality (a reason to invite someone onto your ship)

    Improved ship interior functionality (games in ten forward, storage in captains quarters, mini game in engineering that gives a small buff, injury treatment in sick bay)

    Improved target camera lock in space combat

    FIRST OFFICERS

    Long Term
    The Introduction Of Real next Generation starfleet vessels, not these crappy "Retrofits". I feel like Im driving a cadillac instead of a camaro. Think "USS Dauntless" from Voyager episode "Hopes and Fears", or even the Typhoon class battleship. Starfleet would be much further ahead with ship design than what they are in game. Same for Klingons. Maybe consult with CBS?

    Open "worlds" for ground game. Randomly generated massive maps with all different types of cities and characters for worlds. The worlds feel too linear and artificial. Adding critters is a step in the right direction. Why not make them catchable as pets?

    The ability to gain diplomacy exp with all major factions and integrate crafting system so you can craft faction specific technology. Example: The Romulan exiles love you so you can use their crafting station to put romulan parts on your ship. Because the Romulans like you the cardassians hate you... you get the idea. It would mean much more variety in ship builds and more interesting pvp.

    Level cap raise and development of the Iconian storyline for Vice Admirals (think this might be in the works).

    More interesting quest rewards based on a mutli-path story arc with missions.

    Think That about covers it, the ship thing is important, Im sick of looking at Galaxy classes. Thanks for reading!

    Shortterm goals:
    -Maybe add Bajoran weapons for ground combat.
    -Fix anamolies that are far above or below you but you cannot reach them. You cannot fly to them because of board dimesion restrictions.

    Midterm Goals:
    -Add an interaction for Bajoran captains at the Bajoran Temple on DS9
    -Make your ship crew NPC uniforms match your captain's uniform. So that when you walk around your ship (off the bridge--after customizing your bridge officers to match you) you actually feel part of a Starfleet crew from whatever time period...or you can all look like a homogenious crew.
    -The ablility to assign your bridge officers roles/titles like First Officer, Chief Engineer, Chief Medical Officer, etc.
    ~Joined Trill bridge officers
    ~The ability to replay past weekly feature mission content, if you missed it (but after a set time from when the episode originally "aired"...something like 3-6 months might not be bad). And it would give something to do while developing other episodes.

    Longterm Goals
    -Missions affected by choices/actions/dialogue
    -Playable Jem'Hadar Federation and/or Klingon captains
    -Be able to travel to Earth...planetside and see Starfleet Command and Starfleet Academy (at least).
    -Maybe add a mission/story involving Mars and the Utopia Plantetia shipyards.
    ~Missions in the Gamma Quadrant--through the Bajoran wormhole

    Short term
    Add elite items that can be obtained by various ways eg pvp-pve
    Raids
    Fixing the difficulty curve between normal advanced etc.

    Mid term
    Advanced ground combat that gives the game an edge and a lot of fun
    Skills that are more clever to use and bigger variety
    More action combat
    Customize our ground weapons and give them new shapes color etc
    Customize our weapon fire style and color
    I think shooting like 3rd person fps could be awesome just like fallen earth and even better.
    Advanced equipment slots eg earrings,amulets,rings,shoulders,gloves etc that carry stats with them making ground combat even more amazing.

    Long term
    Make startrek online have some kind of sim city feel,strategy game feel and eve online feel but in a more clever way.
    1.Having ships in my solo fleet that gather planet or asteroids resources and selling them to earn money or collecting them to create ships or other things in my starbase or starship.
    2.Having crew members in my ship that are working as craftsmen that they lvl up through time and they explore new recipies to create items.Also crew members in my ship that are send to planets to gather resources or to special missions to lvl up.
    3.Giving orders to other ships that i have in my command making space combat epic.
    4.Special missions that require you to command your ship inside your bridge
    5.make the ship moving while im in the bridge interior and give comands from my interior
    6.Continue evolving ground combat cause i think revamp will not be enough.

    short term : (1) I like to be able to change toons without having to log out and then back in
    (2) would be nice if you could set up bridge crew for each ship and keep them that way. example if in fly a sci ship my crew is set up for that ship but if I cahnge to a excort have a diffrent crew already there set for that ship and so on. If a capt leaves one ship and goes to another the crew does not always go with him they are still on the last ship waiting for him to come back
    (3) this one i thought would be cool any way we can get a hat for the suite the toon.

    Med Term : Like to see more missions of kinglon side

    other than that can think of anything now But you guys are doing a great job keep it up :D

    Short Term: More items I can buy with latinum. More player-races, pets and uniforms.

    Mid Term: More mini-games. I'm a casual player so playing mini-games like dabo really really appeals to me.
    Games like Kal-Toh or kadis-kot would be cool to play. I'll be willing to buy them from the c-store.

    Long Term:
    Another faction. That would definitely keep me playing the game longer. Maybe some more remastered episodes. More voice-acting would be nice.

    --- SHORT TERM ---


    - SEPARATE CRAFTING FROM RESEARCH: Research could stay centered on memory alpha, but crafting should be possible even during an away mission, if your responsible engineer or scientist is with you.

    - MAKE THE PVP CUEUEING SYSTEM USABLE FOR MULTIPLAYER MISSIONS AS WELL: I am not in a fleet because I am a freelancer and don't have much time. Whenever I go online and want to play a multiplayer mission like INFECTED or THE CURE i ask in the zone chat or use the teaming feature, but it takes eons to get an answer if I ever get one. Make it possible to cueue up for those missions like for the pvp missions.

    - MINOR TWEAKS REGARDING SITTABLE CHAIRS: Make the Captains Chair (by right-clicking the chair) sitting animation more dynamic like the emote. Right now she sits there as if she has a problem in her pants. Enable all chairs in the game to be right-clickable for a sitting animation like the captains chair. Change the position of the mission replay terminal clicking hotspot so that my captain can reach the terminal while sitting at her desk in the ready room, and doesn't have to get up again to reach the terminal.

    --- MID TERM ---


    - VEHICLES/TRANSPORTATION/MOVEMENT METHODS: Buggys, ATV's, anti-gravitational-pods, hovercrafts, stationary railway/subway, planetary shuttles/crew transporters, conveyor belts, lifts, ladders, jetpack, rocket boots. - Create the possibility to do freeclimbing on a rock. "There is only one reason to climb a rock: Because it's there!" - Create a swimsuit and a scuba suit and the ability to swim and dive! I want to experience Risa as it is ment to be! - Create a space suit with magnetic boots and make it possible to walk on the outside of the ships hull.

    - ASSIGN BRIDGE OFFICERS TO USABLE SHIPS CONSOLES ON THE SHIPS INTERIOR AND LET US COMMAND THE SHIP FROM THE BRIDGE: Make ships consoles in the ships interior maps usable and make it possible to assign officers. E.G. If I used the mission replay terminal to choose a mission, the normal way should be heading to my nav lieutenant on the bridge and give him the order to set a course to the new location without having to leave the bridge and beam to ship again, if i visited the bridge from a starbase before. The ships consoles should be more meaningful than the consoles in the ships character page. Players should be able to see on the bridge who is assigned to which tactical or science or engineering station and be able to directly give them commands from within the bridge map. If you're injuried, then go to sickbay to your chief medical officer and get a tratment, or if you like to craft things, go to the science lab, or if you want to plug in a new module for the warp drive, go to main engineering and order your engineering team to make it so, and if you want to play that dixon hill episode, then go to holodeck, or if you want to chart new star clusters, do it from whihin the astrometrics lab instead of flying there.

    - LANDING PARTY WITHOUT CAPTAIN/VISUAL COMMUNICATION ONSCREEN: Make it possible to send a landing party to a planet/station/other ship without being with them. Then make it possible to talk to them for report via bigscreen on the bridge. Make it possible to use the bigscreen on the bridge for all visual communication.

    --- LONG TERM ---


    - FACTION/REPUTATION SYSTEM: Include a faction/reputation system and reputation rewards. Include freelancer/scientists/smuggler/pirate/headhunter/religious/paramilitary groups and make the player able to sympathise or join with them and create storylines around them like the marquee or the daystrom institute.

    - PLAYER CRAFTABLE CUSTOMIZABLE SHIPS/BASES: Include a modular ship designer for interior and exterior to build freighters, who carry containers on a skeleton frame, and special purpose ships and design the ships interior layout and functionality. Include the possibility to create player controlled bases or colonies - either orbital or planetary - for mining, farming, crafting and trading to gather more latinum.

    - FLUENT SEAMLESS (STREAMING) MAP TRANSITIONS WITHOUT LOADING SCREENS: Make it possible to do a manual or tractor beam supported docking procedure in earth space dock and actually walk through the airlock from the ship into the station. Make it possible to approach a star system and drop out of warp flight without loading screen to explore the system (including sol system) and make it possible to approach a planet for standard orbit. Also make it possible to manually launch a shuttle (flight simulator style) from ships hangar bay and approach a planets surface in atmospheric flight, then land and actually leave the shuttle/crew transporter through the bulkhead.

    1 more war zones and contested spase zones ,where we all get a chat log (the klingons are attacking k7 all feds we need help to push them back) or admiral saying its time to take this fight to qo nos and you run a armada to qo nos and kick the downs down, 2 weapon tree so we can customeize our weapons more with range, high power,multi efects., just more of us in our weapon builds, and the 3rd ......a romulan playable race a 3 race pvp would be bad as? ....so klingons quit crying and thanks for a great game

    The idea I have with the ship crafting is that you can take any ship you love UP to your current level.

    Each ship class and tier should determine the physical size, HP, crew size, maximum weapon slots, maximum bridge officer stations, maximum console slots, maximum device slots, and maximum number of special abilities.

    A user should have the ability to take any ship they want from its current tier up to any tier they currently have access to. Meaning if your character is now Lieutenant Commander, you should only be able to upgrade your starship to tier 1.

    When your character levels up from let's say Lieutenant to Lieutenant Commander, you should be given the option to either upgrade your current ship or choose a new ship within the tier you have access to, which in this case would be tier 1.

    Effects of increasing your ships tier: (Note that all these changes are affected by the type (cruiser/escort/science) of your ship as well as the current tier to which you are upgrading your ship)

    1. The physical size of your ship should increase to facilitate the larger warp coils, warp core, etc.
    2. Your ships HP will increase (the same way it currently works)
    3. The crew size will increase (the same way it currently works)
    4. The default and maximum number of front and rear weapon slots will increase.
    5. The default and maximum number of console slots will increase, the maximum number of your engineering, tactical, and science console slots will differ from the different types.
    6. The default and maximum number of device slots will increase
    7. The maximum number of special abilities your ship can have will increase.
    8. The available bridges (to me it is stupid that they allow you to choose a bridge that is made for the galaxy class for your tier 0 ship)
    9. The available interior upgrades
    10. Your ships maximum warp
    11. The ships power

    All upgrades you make should cost you in game currency... and to be able to use some of the upgrade functionality can be obtainable via the c-store...

    Ship Console Upgrades:

    At your current tier your ship should have a default number of weapon, console, and device slots and also a maximum number for each.

    You should be able to upgrade your current amount of slots to any number below or equal the maximum allowed number of slots.

    Take a tier 3 cruiser for example:
    1. Weapon slots:
      Default: 4 front, 3 rear
      Maximum: 6 front, 4 rear (these numbers are just an example)
    2. Console slots:
      Default: 2 engineer, 1 science, 1 tactical
      Maximum: 4 engineer, 2 science,2 tactical
    3. Device Slots:
      Default: 3
      Maximum: 5

    Ship Interior Upgrades:

    I want the interior of my ship feel more "alive" and also feel like it has actual meaning and not just there for eye candy.

    Interior upgrade options:
    1. exchange console :
      You should be able to add an exchange console to your ships interior which will give exactly the same functionality as the exchange consoles within space stations.
    2. mail interface:
      A mail console that allows you to "upload" and "download" your mail attachments.
    3. marketing interface:
      This should be the same interface you get when talking to a NPC and accessing their store, but this should have an extra function. When you go to ESD you should be able to register all the traders onto this interface so that you eventually get something similar to Amazon in the sense that you select an item and see all the different price options (they can also link the exchange to this).
    4. crafting console:
      I don't want to go to Memory Alpha each time I have something I want to craft, I want to go into my ship's interior and go to the science lab or engineering and do the crafting there.
    5. Dabo console:
      It would be great to be able to go into your ship and play some Dabo while you wait for people to join your team for let's say one of the STF's.
    6. Sickbay functionality:
      I want to go to sickbay and have my medical officer heal all my injuries, be able to have him/her make me medical equipment and so on. Here you should also be able to upgrade your ships medical abilities, e.g. crew regeneration and so on.
    7. Engineering functionality:
      If you go to engineering I want to be able to ask my chief engineer to repair my ship's injuries and craft me some critical components. I also want to be able to upgrade parts of my ship from here, e.g. increase my warp speed and sacrifice something for it...

    There are countless more option that can be added that will give your ship interior more meaning and dept. And I want that in this game.

    Special Abilities Upgrades:

    I really like the whole idea of special abilities, I only have one problem... you can't fully enjoy them all without having each ship that contains one... I support the idea that you must buy it from the c-store, but I would like to be able to take that ability in the ship I just bought and upgrade another ship I maybe like more with that same ability.

    I know not all ships can support all the special abilities, since it would not be canon if the Excelsior all of a sudden have a saucer separation ability... but then you can also argue that this is way into the future and maybe those options became available.

    The number of special abilities you can add to your ship should be determined by your ships tier.
    The effectiveness of the special ability should be directly linked to your ship type.
    • e.g. a cloak should work better on a science vessel where a battle cloak work better on an escort and in this case the cruiser will be neutral.

    I think all the special abilities can be applied to all the ships, except the saucer separation... oh and also the siege mode of the Nausicaan destroyer... So there will definitely be special abilities that you can only use with a specific ship, but most of them can be used on any ship...

    This is what I want to be able to do:
    Take my Galaxy class starship and...
    1. add an extra nacelle (which should have some special effect)
    2. add a spinal phaser lance
    3. add a cloaking device (either battle cloak or normal cloak)
    4. add a transwarp drive
      I really hope they eventually allow you to go to a space station or outpost and register its location within your ships computer and by doing so allowing you to transwarp there. You will eventually come to a point in the game where you have every location registered.
    5. add carrier ability
      The amount of fighters and the size of them will differ depending on your ships type and tier.
    6. add ablative generators

    Like I said before the amount of special abilities should depend on your ships tier and your ships type.

    How your character should get access to these abilities: This should stay the same as it works now. If you buy the ship in the c-store you get the ship for all your characters as well as the special ability upgrade for all ships (that support it) on all your characters. If you want to obtain it in game, it will work the same as it currently does, when you get access to the ship with a specific character you will also get access to the upgrade option, but only one use of this upgrade option and also only on that character.

    In the end your ship should feel like your "home" and not just a tool you use to combat with...

    I don't know if anyone has suggested this, but - being able to control your ship from the captain's chair, and walk around while the ship is moving would be great. Adding new/better servers is a given, I already said I would even pay more for better stability; I even offered a new car! Oh, and to all you admirals, loosten up, will ya? It's just a game... your NOT a REAL admiral! lol.

    Short: Future Imperfect badges and Delta Flyer uniform. C'mon... is that so much to ask for?
    Allow holo BO to be adjustable; clothing, gender, equipment, class. IT is a hologram; therefore some choices should be allowed instead of just standard issue visuals and gender (male).

    Mid: Refit for Akira Class. Extra weapons slots, tactical slots, and fighter bay as it was originally intended to be a battleship/carrier in the war front against the Borg. The Defiant was out of commission in First Contact long before any damage was done to the Thunder Child.

    Long: More diplomatic missions, storylines, using shuttles, runabout, delta flyer, captain's yacht, etc. Ship interior for each class of ship should be more like the actual interiors shown in canon i.e. engineering, ready room, observation lounge.

    Android BO?

    Mini-game: Shuttle race. Participate in a shuttle races in various locations (different tracks). Allow players to win prizes such as gold pressed latinum, special parts, items, etc. Allow bidding on races.

    Allow for use of other factions instead of just Federation & Klingons.

    1: Meeting a new culture in Exploration missions. Seems to be the same thing every time i land on a planet while exploring unknown systems: scan and fight, scan and don't fight. Would be nice to find a previously unknown culture instead. Possibly use the FDC missions for this?

    2: Along the same vein as the first: No colonists in unknown space. Makes no sense that i run into cultures previously visited by Federation starships, or worse a federation colony, in what is supposed to be "unknown" space. Seems more possibly, might be, could maybe be, unknown space.

    3: In First Contact missons when i'm on the Obersrvation deck, or anywhere on my ship, could you please-PLEASE!- make it so i don't have to "Beam to your ship?" when i'm on my own ship!? It's a small detail i know, but it drives me bonkers! I'm on my ship already-can't i just use the door?

    4: Yeah it's supposed to be 3 but here's a fourth. is it possible to have an Operative working with Section 31? Being able to infiltrate the enemies of the Federation would be a lot of fun!

    Thank you for all the hard work you've put into this game! it just keeps getting better!

    for 366 days now ive waited for a upgradable coni class ship.you made the rival excel ship but forgot about the enterprise a-refit from the movie.IT wasnt even a option!!!!!! or it would of won!!!!!!!! IF YOUR GONA MAKE NEW SHIPS YOU SHOULD CONSIDER THE CONI OR ATLEAST MAKE HER UPGRADABLE,
    OR A COSTUME TO REPLACE THE EXCELL also we need a shuttle bay to carry our shuttles onboard thanyou for reading:)
    ALSO congrats on all the face lifts your heading in the rite directions!!

    Short-Term:Squash bugs, Fed Carrier
    Mid-Term: Squash more bugs, More cut scenes and VO's for existing missions.
    Long-Term: Fully functional Romulan Faction.

    "No short terms srry"

    Mid terms:
    1: New modifable weapons. I.E. When crafting ability to increase the attack power based on science level.
    Limit based on weapons level Mk1 2.5-20. also depending on weapon type.
    2:More ship damage. I.E. Phaser burns. Holes from Torpeados. Kinda tired of just engine damage. Also allow it to be more permant. Hull intergrity/hull plating.
    3: Hull intergrity sepreated from hull plating basicly armor. allow the intergrity to be hp but allow the plating to be damage over time. Increasing damage to the ship the low your plating. Which is repairable by docking.
    Armor and intergrity are two different things the intergrity can be repair to allow a ship to stablize itself. The plating is alittle harder and would require outside ship repair which is not doable in combat or travel.
    Long Term:
    1:Ability VS. Skills. Abilities should be based on race. Skills is something everyone can do. Abilites should also be modifiable along with skill. 3 abilities that affect phyiscal traits and skills. And two abilities that can replace offensive and defensive abilities. Such as psy shields that replace personal and can be upgraded to handle more damage. Offensive like berserk to increase damage and allow more knock back chances. Like 3 knockbacks before enemy becomes immune.
    2:Turning galaxy map into a usable map I.E. I could click on Deferis section of the galaxy map and bring it up like a normal sector map and warp to. And please I beg of you remove that do you wish to warp thing. It's so annoying now.
    3:Allow the player to diable ships/Ground units in PvE/PvP/Solo missions so you do not have to constanly be consider a combat unit. PvP disable is a 1min respawn time allowing the other player to board ship. And ability to board enemy PvE ships to take wanted weapon/Items. Also allow disable ground units to be beamed to sick bay then Jail.
    4:Allow a player to use different parts of other weapons/shield/ships to create a new item. Prob acceptable craft skill above 2k. You decided.
    5:Ability to use replicatiors on ship and starbases. This goes with it/// Allow the player to actually sit or lay in more areas then a captians chair.
    6:Allow a player to access computer basicly a small window. Library for the ship. And hacking for enemies. using tech that allows the ability to hack and let the player mess with it.
    7:Tricoder codex reading. A window that maps the area out up to so many meters showing items/missions/enemies. Also allow Tricoder scan to study plants, enemy weapons, and viable metals. In a little window giving a small report not a detailed that would require a ships study system.
    8:keep the finding in space of craft items. But allow planet mining for required items. Goes with tricoder and ability to beam down to planets freely.
    9: More planet maps and the ability to choose beaming location from bridge or tatical view.

    That it for now if I think of anything else I'll drag my crazy mind back. Thank you.:D


    Edit mid term:
    Shield coloring for the ships. Instead of just bluish white why not different color pixels for the shield?

    Short term suggestions
    Add more rooms to the Starships, such as a brig in Starfleet ships (Never understood why they didn't put one in in the first place.), Stellar cartography, Science lab, Conference room (It makes a guest appearance in the Breen), Shuttle bay, Cargo Bay, Holo deck (This one can also be a mid/long term if you want to make it functional).

    mid term suggestions
    I'm not sure if it's been brought up yet, though I'm pretty sure it can't be done in the game. (Though if I'm wrong please inform me) I'd like the ability to assign my bridge officer's to actual positions on the ship. Eg. My commander tactical officer on board my Galaxy Class starship can take on the assignment of Executive Officer (First officer for you non military savvy readers), while the Science officer with the medical based skills gets assigned to the position of Chief Medical Officer. In turn you should be able to see them in their respective elements while walking around your ship.     Here's a Faction idea that I don't think has been discussed (Though if I'm wrong forgive me), How about The Inter Stellar Consortium? It would give the guys at cryptic liberties with their racial makeup as they've never been touched on aside from the Star Trek miniature ship battle game, and the first two Starfleet Command games.

    Short term suggestions
    Add more rooms to the Starships, such as a brig in Starfleet ships (Never understood why they didn't put one in in the first place.), Stellar cartography, Science lab, Conference room (It makes a guest appearance in the Breen), Shuttle bay, Cargo Bay, Holo deck (This one can also be a mid/long term if you want to make it functional).

    I'm not sure if it's been brought up yet, though I'm pretty sure it can't be done in the game. (Though if I'm wrong please inform me) I'd like the ability to assign my bridge officer's to actual positions on the ship. Eg. My commander tactical officer on board my Galaxy Class starship can take on the assignment of Executive Officer (First officer for you non military savvy readers), while the Science officer with the medical based skills gets assigned to the position of Chief Medical Officer. In turn you should be able to see them in their respective elements while walking around your ship.     I said the same thing about the Starfleet Universe races. It's already known where their space lies (ISC is in the Beta Quadrant beyond the Romulan Star Empire and Gorn Hegemony/Confederation for instance) their ships are already designed and their histories/allegiances have already been established. I don't think I'd want to see the Mirak Star League though, I'd want to see them in their original Kzinti form. :)

    Hello Dear Captains and STO Dev,
    these are the things,I would like to see in Star Trek Online in the Future.With some things of my list,you
    could make the game more playable after High Rank gained.


    Short Term:
    -Fixing all Bugs in the Missions
    -Remastered Missions
    -More Klingon PVE-Missions and better Balancing (the Klingons get always nerfed.That Suck!)

    Mid Term:
    -Adding a Klingon Tier 5 D7 Cruiser
    -A bit more Borg Stuff and a new STF
    -A new Ground Combat System would be nice. (like targeting with your Phaser Rifle)

    Long Term:
    -A Caddasian Faction or a fully playable Keldon-Class Battleship
    -maybe playable Admiral Rank
    -Open PVP
    -fleet Starbases (that could be captured from Klingon Fleets.)

    Short: For the new ESD you should be able to fly through the doors to dock at one of the piers inside the station. When a ship gets too close to an object like an asteroid or a planet, it shouldn't actually touch the object but stop a shiplength away; there should be a message from a bridge officer saying "Powering down impulse to avoid collision" or something.

    Mid:The planets in the game are way too small to be realistic. I'm not saying that they should be actual sized, but if I drive a ship near a planet the cities shouldn't be the size of the ship. The moons should be at least the size of what the planets are now.

    I'm not trying to sound critical, but from what I can see, the problem with increasing the size of the planets is that they'd never fit on the screen/map. A lot of people made similar comments about Star Trek Armada 2, but if they where any bigger you'd never be able to do anything with them.

    Short Term:
    • Continue with new episodes while managing/fixing server stability.

    Medium Term:
    • Give us a limited API so we can query the STO player DB and pull player stats. Of course, allow players to generate and control who they give their API key to, some players may not wish their stats to be made public.

    Long Term:
    • Uniquely tailored PvE and PvP missions/arenas, supporting teams of 10 players or greater.
    • RvR/faction warfare, that has a direct impact on new areas of faction controlled territory or borders. A bit like capture and hold but on a sector wide level. These sectors should be outside of the main map, akin to something like the cluster sectors maybe.

    I've a ton more more but will spare your eyes :)

    i have some really good ideas on the romulan faction. please excuse my spelling, and punctuation as it is 2:30 am and i am really tired lol. one thing i would really like to see is when we are allowed to play in the romulan star empire is at a certain rank you would have the choice of joining the tal'shiar and that choice would determine what missions you would be allowed to play. also we would need to have our own ships, weapons, ranking system and all that. not that TRIBBLE i read about the romulans joining the feds and kdf. that will be the downfall of this game. also their must be alot of pve. not the disaster that became the klingons. also the scimitar or reman warbird should be ingame via a teir 5 retrofit promotion or via the c store. also this ship should be extremley formidable but at the same time defeatable. a hanger bay whith some kind of scorpion fighter configuration would be appropiate and a secondary sheilding system. also a thelaron weapon that would be a super attack but would have a very long recharge like 20 or 30 mins. in addition it should be able to fire while cloaked but it would need a modification such as lowered dps or something so it's not a completly unfair fight. again just some ideas that i talked about with my fleet and everyone likes the idea so i really hope a dev reads this. i would greatly appreciate any feedback on this from the community. if you have any comments regarding this please send a mail to my game account. thank you.

    Short-term requests

    1) First Officer assignment.

    2) Marines for boarding enemy ships.

    3) Deep Space Encounters, please ask if I want to enter. There's already enough combat in the missions.

    Mid-term requests

    1) Voiced dialogue for mission briefs and BO reports.

    2) No waiting to rezone back to starbases. The travel time takes up too much of my game time.

    3) Valkris' outfit (Search for Spock)

    Long-term requests

    1) The crafting system is much better but still needs more work. Let me improve weapons that I find on missions.

    2) Diplomatic and Social missions with branching storylines based on my choices.

    3) More NPCs and vendors at starbases that we can Interact with.

    Short-term:
    • Add a 'wildcard' to Rank-based titles, which alter the HUD and NPC dialogue to display the rank of your selected title, not your current level.
    • Add more colour options to the tailors, to allow for screen-accurate uniform colours.
    • Rename 'escorts' as something else - warships, battleships, tactical starship, etc. 'Escort' is a misnomer.
    • Add new material options for starships, that better resemble canon hull colours. For example, the mostly-white hull colour for the Constitution refit/Miranda classes.


    Medium-term:
    • Re-scale ships and starbases to something closer to canon - for example, using the scale charts from Ex-astris-scienta.org as a consistent example.
    • As with ESD and the Sol System, rework all the major canon locations to look more like their on-screen counterparts.
    • Add more canon weapons - for instance, the various TNG-era phaser models.

    Long-term:
    • Remove the Tactical-Engineering-Science class system from player characters, in favour of a broader skill system.
    • Do the same for ship classes, so they aren't 'ghetto-ised' into arbitrary classes.
    • Same again for Bridge Officers - rework the classes to become 'Command', 'Operations' and 'Sciences', and add new skill trees to allow for things like 'Chief Medical Officers', 'Flight Controllers' and 'Ops Managers'.
    • Re-scale/re-design interior locations to better reflect canon - DS9, K-7, starship bridges, etc.

    - STF Overhauls (less team-work needed) making them to 2 or 3 players needing to play them (5 is irritating)

    Mid-term:-

    - The Duty Roster AND the bridge officer system with ability to command NPC ships that hang around you with them commanding them
    - First Officer to Captain
    - Playable Romulan Faction

    Long-term:-

    - Playable Undine Faction
    - Faction conflicts that has effects on the actual space map
    - Buildable species that have culture designed by players and have homeworlds as actual star system in-game
