Mine is the USS Desiderata. From the latin "desired things". It was used to name one of the thoroughfares through Freeside, the T-A space station from Gibson's Neuromancer. Also note, my character, Jane Tessier is named for a character from the same book. The Lady 3Jane Marie France Tessier-Ashpool. I love me some Neuromancer

Neuromancer is awesome
Mine's the USS Migrator One
Also have the Astral Migrator and Stellar Migrator.
Named em that way, since i cannot fit "Universal Migrator" into the naming conventions.
Universal Migrator is from the Ayreon series of CDs. If you've never heard Ayreon, definitely do yourself a favor and do so. Incredible music, with a sci-fi story. Great stuff
Going to hit Commander soon - don't really like the look of the Science vessels and Cruisers available at that tier (Cheyenne's a kitbash, Stargazer/Dakota look a bit clunky, Olympic is a horrible mutant version of what we saw in 'All Good Things', and the other two? Blecch!! ), so I'm going with the iconic Akira-class - after three cruisers, a warship should spice things up a bit (and by 'spice', read that as 'blow'... ).
Haven't thought up a decent registry number yet (might see what I'm given, although I'm tempted to go into the 100000+ range, rather than the default 91000+), but with things like the 'USS Kirk' and 'USS Montgomery Scott' already in the game, I figure it's time another major Starfleet legend gets a suitable namesake. Hence:
U.S.S. Robert April
It's about time - need more TAS love in STO! Particularly since, with the Abrams movie doing the rounds, it's only right to remind people who the real first Captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise was!

Well, if you mean the FIRSTUSS Enterprise, it was Colonel Benedict Arnold in 1775
Anyways, mine however was due to I was watching A Certain Scientific Railgun when I got my Sovereign and liked the Nickname a character gave the main character, bout it really.

I usually try to name my ships after the class name
USS Zulfiquar, Excalibur-class -- Named after the sword of Muhammed. Fitting for a class apparently named after swords.
USS Andromeda, Galaxy-class -- Because I'm convinced Gene Roddenberry's "Andromeda" was meant to depict the Fall of the Federation.
USS Kadesha, Oracle-class -- A kadesha was a sacred priestess from Mesopotamia. It fits in with the Oracle class name.
USS Hecatoncheries, Fleet Escort -- She's a torpedo boat. Throws lots of torps at things, hence the name 'Hundred-Handed Giant.'
Comments
Intrepid with Discovery engines.
Obvious reasons...
T1. Mercury
T2. Gemini
T3. Apollo
The three programs leading to the moon landing
T4. McAuliffe - after Christa McAuliffe from STS-51-L, the Challenger Disaster, may her noble spirit embiggen us all.
T5. Farnsworth - after the Professor on Futurama, himself named for Philo T Farnsworth, inventor of the electric Television

As you can see i like greek mythology. I also like to name my ships after famous persons, like Sisko for example.
Norse air spirits/elves. I plan to have a Norse theme to all of my ship's names with this character.
USS Clarion (Dervish-class escort for my newly promoted RA character)
and
USS Chin'toka (Cheyenne-class heavy escort). Named after the Chin'toka System, site of two pivotal battles during the Dominion War.

I think Picard would approve.
