Since you failed to prove that people visit tropical paradises wearing full baseball uniforms specifically to SUNBATHE in and partake in water sports you've won nothing.

I'm more than well aware of the teams in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica and how they play in outdoor fields in the summer. However, having dated several baseball jocks, I laugh at the travesty of your counterpoint when I tell you that the only time they ever wore their uniforms outside of a game, was during promotional events.
This means:
NOT for walks on the Beach. NOT for sunbathing (unless they want to be heckled for the farmer tans they're bound to get that way). And most definitely NOT for water sports.
So unless they encountered some superstition that involved them constantly wearing their uniforms in order to win a game or series, what you propose is nothing more than a straw man...
I'm also showing the narrow world view that Cryptic is doing by fixating on the back-story for Benjamin's Sisko's love of baseball because DS9 decided to make it the diversion trope of the series.
I know this game is beginning it's downward slope to shutting down, the question I have is -- does it have to follow the path Paramount did by beating the horse so dead, nothing remains?

I guess I will be discarding my T5 Corvette which I got from the phoenix box.
Why? Seems wasteful to do that.

Things I want in STO:
1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!
Baseball, honestly, Baseball ? Can you come up with nothing new, or is the news correct and STO will be dead in two more years. The amount of effort that seems to have been put into this event is extremely low. I'll be there for the ship only, anything else you had hoped for is of no interest to me, which is sad as RISA was my favorite event, until last year, and you held on to the very reason I lost interest in it it seems.
Drydock it. It could very well be that visual options in the Ship Tailor would be something you may desire in customizing the T6.

Does the Tire 6 Risian corvette replace the current Risian corvette Tier 5 or will there be a second Admiralty Ship?
Question 2: If these are two different ships, would it be possible allow for players to slot the older (T5) ship as a second project for Alt Charters? Or Also get the T5 Ship for free as part of getting the T6?
Event ships are now account unlocks which can be reclaimed on all characters, they have been for years now.
Currently, you can't slot in an older project. If you still had a character that still has the project for the T5, it would still remain in your event mission slot list.
Before they enabled us to be able to finish older ship project slots with the current winter event tokens, I ended up deleting most of the older projects. So those ships are only available if I (ever) get an Epic Phoenix box.

I don't hate baseball. I simply don't think its relevant to an event like this, and feel there was no need to recycle it. It wasn't quite as bad the first time around as they were at least able to tie it into ViL and DS9 anniversary.

I would humbly ask for volleyball items/emotes for next year. The grey tank tops are getting lonely all by their lonesome!
I'd suggest a volleyball net popping up as part of an emote for that game, but it'll end up becoming a griefing tool, even if people would be allowed to run through it. If it was as those Engineering shield skills/kit items, then it would be a huge mistake.
