Dude, it's the Enterprise. Somebody changes the shape of a nacelle and you go apeshit
yeah the most iconic ship in star trek and people want it, that is baffling.
My bad, it was early. I hadn't had coffee yet, and I was not stating myself clearly.
I'm KDF at heart. I am amused by the 1001 variations of the Enterprise, and the fact that one slight variation in a ship that's gone through 6 generations so far, (Enterpise A-E plus TRIBBLE thing), is enough to fuel such a frenzy of excitement among you Feddies. We can't even get a T-6 D7 in the Z store, the damn thing goes for 1.3 BILLION EC on the exchange, but there are...oh why do I even bother. It's all been said before. Game on, by all means, game on.

Trust me, we know what that sorta pain is like, Chastity. ~gives the comic book guy wannabes a bitter look~
Though, let's think of the Klingon vessel as a classic.....I mean they kept using that design for ages, so it's like a good vintage wine, it gets better with age. |^_^\ V

As a KDF fan, you should rejoice. If there's a new style Constitution on Discovey, then you can bet there's a new style D7 that'll pop up at some point; this opens up an opportunity for KDF players, and yes, Lock Box ships are expensive on the exchange, but that's all part of the game; gambling is optional, and such rewards aren't P2W.
Have you seen the TRIBBLE version of the D-7?? I doubt fans of the K't'inga/D-7 will want that
Got a picture?
It's not the same ship. It's a D7 prison ship not the battlecruiser.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Seems to follow the same idea as something we saw in Enterprise, where there were variants of ships with similar designations, like the D5 Cruiser and D5 Tanker.

There hasn't been a D7 shown on Discovery yet, so I don't know quite what you're on about.
One episode had a "D7" appear, that snagged the shuttle, but it looked anything BUT a D7. It looks more like one of the Romulan miracle worker ships. |>_>\;;

Go on then. What's a D7 Prison ship supposed to look like? I eagerly await your canon source for this previously unseen ship type.

Well I remember the scene, but not the mention of it being a D7. Regardless, we've seen two versions of a Constitution Class (one wireframe, and then the Enterprise). I would theorise that a D7 Prison Ship is a different ship to the D7 Battlecruiser we're all familiar with.
If the showrunners want to maintain consistency to prime Trek, as they continually tell us, then the D7 design simply can't look too out of place. They've done the Constitution justice, and so I can only assume that they'll do the D7 equal justice for when one truly presents itself.

A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

Unfortunately that's not how this line works. They will give their development order to whatever they think makes the most money, not what people have asked for the longest.
True but come on.... Beautiful Kelvin timeline designs from the best trek? Ugly as balls Discovery designs from the worst trek? Should this really be an issue?
Is this a sick joke?
I can hear the steam comming out of your ears from here.

Actually... they will give development order to whatever CBS approves of. Cryptic knew a T6 Connie would sell like wildfire. If CBS had approved it, they would have jumped on that in a heartbeat. As for Star Trek Beyond stuff... that is a licensing issue as anything Kelvin Timeline is owned by Paramount. We only got access to stuff from 09 and Into Darkness.
I know, but my fingers are crossed none the less. Beyond was just so damned awesome and the Big E looked spectacular in that flick. Dear Paramount, please see fit to grant a loyal trekkie with the sleek hotness of Enterprise-A.
LMAO Sorry LOYAL Trekkies ignore KT as it is a alt universe and non canonical to the TV and numerous TOS based films. These include TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT/TRIBBLE. KT is it's own thing and has it's own canon which is fine but to be 100% honest has more then enough of it in this game. Seriously look at whats in the works Tarentino Trek so when that happens are we going to get that here as well? I hope not as the enitre Trek universe is starting to be like the Marvel Universe a mixed bag that can be just god awful.

The part of the ship we see in that shot reminds me of the TRIBBLE of a Vor'cha Class.

Well according to the Devs they did in a lockbox and is so rare its nearly mythical.
They better put the TOS T-6 in there as well or there will be much grief poured unto the Devs considering the fiasco the TOS T-6 ships release was.
