Back to the server issues, well yeah its becoming a real pain..Got DCd while playing a long mission on elite twice and had to start over..And now SNR's are hapening at 0%-2% during map transfers..Alpha quad has become laggy as hell in sector space..Missions are a different story..

Sadly, i have found most members of the equine species to be smarter than the people who own them, a suprising number of them "educated elitists" with PHD's of one flavor or another.

One can aquire higher education built upon a foundation of common sense, however hi IQ and book learning are useless without common sense, and wisdom trumps them both.

I am not very happy with this game, I started years ago with another account, game was too buggy, now I'm getting SNR's every time I transport to a location or warp to a sector, everything the game needs to load new maps I get a 40 second SNR then it loads, this is unacceptable, call it free but we paid well enough for you guys to hire real programmers who are out of diapers, the game is just filled with memory leaks and incomplete registry strings, NOW I WANT MY FU@K*NG MONEY BACK NOW, its your turn to find me, now refund me you goofs... I foresee ddos attacks I think if you keep pissing people off, I'm not going to sit and watch my money pissed away so some guy in his office so he can afford hookers and crack, you people running this game are nothing but jokes, now GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK or we will move to the next level...

I've been having D/C's and SnR's all over the place today. Over the last 2 hours, I've been D/C'd a grand total of 5 times, and even ARC D/C's in that too! I don't know what could be going on with everything at Cryptic and Arc servers, but they seem to be getting worse over the last month. This is RIDICULOUS! The launcher for STO even says the servers are down, but people are playing the game (although with major lag and D/C's everywhere). I want to play the game, but can't because of this problem. It has even gotten worse when Win 10 Anniversary Edition came out. I think the Network team over there at Cryptic and Arc needs to go back to school to relearn the skills it needs to maintain a stable network for people to play this game and keep the Arc client stable from network problems. Please fix this issue!

Yup, now it's all messed up again since maintenance today. Been getting SNR's every few minutes. Almost unplayable at this point. Sad, it used to be so stable before Risa and AoY.
I am constantly disconnecting for days now. I can't finish any group content as I get kicked at least every 10 minutes and on reconnecting 20 seconds later get auto-booted from the team (awesome system really). I got network traces on several differnt sites that show zero problems. On some disconnects the trace to patchserver.cry..... actually dies (while all other traces have zero problems) and sometimes all traces have zero issues but I disconnect. Game is completely unplayable for me right now. I had disconnect issues before but never that bad. It usually was gone after a few hours but now this issue persists over the whole day.
I would see SNRs rarely but after the last patch it has been awful. Foundry missions are nigh on impossible now and are part of my regular gameplay. Just signed out due to the frustration...
Call ma an cynical old man but the new money maker, consule port gets its own server. I get the feeling that the holodeck(PC) server is only going to get worse.
I can this this priority, consule server, consule art, consule content, consule shps, consule, consule......if we have time we will look into the holodeck issues.

Cryptic, There is something wrong when I can't load into a Borg Red Alert without a 121 second SNR, and then I get ANOTHER SNR once my ship is loaded in that lasts so long I lose count and quit trying to play the game.
Please Address this, fix the server issues on Holodeck BEFORE you go launching more servers, otherwise the performance of those servers will be broken as well, as you will copy and paste as many settings as you can, and obviously there is a problem somewhere in your Server's settings, as I am not getting these issues with other games!

Yesterday saw it happen a couple of times..Its amusing...Today also right now when I boot my system arc loads then DC'd and then arc blocker asks me to enter the pin it sent me..Did that and then got a first time eror of cant reach arc..Then it worked as normal and I am here..Its only studd linked to cryptic..Steam is also running perfectly right now..

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one being disconnected every 6 minutes. I'm sure it's Cryptic again, the other day Cryptic servers malfuctioned and their home website went down. Nothing put a blank screen like they didn't pay their internet bill or something. It's a good thing this disease I have doesn't let me sleep because I'm sure once someone decides to fix it it'll take the customary 2.5 hours on the pst.
Well, nice to know the server disconnect dogma even goes so far as to kick you out of an in progress pve match, and end it prematurely, causing one to lose out on marks they are after. (Day of Doom, Temporal Marks, as such said insulted case.)
Yeah, the server D/C's are still happening with me. I've been D/C'd a total of 4 times in the last hour. Of course I know it's not on my end, cause I can play other games and go to YouTube and watch videos there with no problem. It is only with STO that I get these SnR's and D/C's while doing ANYTHING in the game. The first D/C was when trying to get into my Fleet Starbase (not the system, the ground map), and the second to last time was about 30 mins ago when almost done with a Tholian Red Alert. I was on the last group and then "VOIALA" I get D/C'd. I log back in, and then I'm put into a battle in another Tholian Red Alert and I died soon afterward.
These SnR's and D/C's are more problematic than ever before. I haven't tried my other MMO's that I play yet to see IF it is my network, but I highly doubt it. The Cryptic network team needs more people to help with these issues with thier games to keep this from happening, cause if the console servers go up and they are still having issues with constant SnR's and D/C's, they will lose more players in a very short amount of time and all of thier games will be dead on arrival on console.

Server(s) disconnect a lot. Not to mention lag (since stepping over to Win 10 it got worse..), especially with the new missions in the top of the multiplayer list ..
Also : If Chrome and STO are open at the same time, this computer reboots. OS : Win10. And yeah, STO is the only game that does this .. Ole ..

Same here, just the last few days, at the moment I can't even get in to the game, I get to the character screen select one of my many toons and then it time outs. Before that, my few attempts at the Mirror Universe event were one big lag fests. Ever since I started this game about 4 years ago, lag has always been an ongoing issue.
I made a Temporal toon and ran the Cardassian story got stuck in planets 4 times. I have had to restart missions that bugged out a few times. It is getting very old. You get tired of reporting the same old bugs over the years. I have spent thousands on this game, life time membership, worked my way up to high council. heaps of toons and ships, etc, for the most part, happy to do it and support the game. However, it gets to the point when the same old problems keep cropping up, enough is enough. Plenty of other MMOs to play these days and spend money on.
Dont even bother asking about the progress in Zone chat. I swear some of those people are Dev. Plants to make everyone think everything is ok. I've tried everything, router trace, updating drivers, re-installing. One thing I noticed different is the map. Use to be that you click on a system and it would auto and close. Now the map stays open. Might be a redundancy issue. It's a new issue for me since last update, But on another note. When you log into the game, go to zone chat and say "We know your a dev plant" so we can get under their skin for once

They all share the same server(s). Which is why we always go down when Neverwinter gets attacked.

These SnR's and D/C's are more problematic than ever before. I haven't tried my other MMO's that I play yet to see IF it is my network, but I highly doubt it. The Cryptic network team needs more people to help with these issues with thier games to keep this from happening, cause if the console servers go up and they are still having issues with constant SnR's and D/C's, they will lose more players in a very short amount of time and all of thier games will be dead on arrival on console.
Also : If Chrome and STO are open at the same time, this computer reboots. OS : Win10. And yeah, STO is the only game that does this .. Ole ..
Same here, just the last few days, at the moment I can't even get in to the game, I get to the character screen select one of my many toons and then it time outs. Before that, my few attempts at the Mirror Universe event were one big lag fests. Ever since I started this game about 4 years ago, lag has always been an ongoing issue.
I made a Temporal toon and ran the Cardassian story got stuck in planets 4 times. I have had to restart missions that bugged out a few times. It is getting very old. You get tired of reporting the same old bugs over the years. I have spent thousands on this game, life time membership, worked my way up to high council. heaps of toons and ships, etc, for the most part, happy to do it and support the game. However, it gets to the point when the same old problems keep cropping up, enough is enough. Plenty of other MMOs to play these days and spend money on.
