Excaliber should have the command spec nt sure bout a flight deck cruiser. A cruiser / escort combo might b nice as suggested. A light nimble ship that can punch

The only one that isn't overdone at this point is temporal and that... no just wouldn't fit well
If you were a time traveler visiting 21st century earth wouldent you want a vechile that looks like its from 21st centuary earth?. Holograms are ok but if u lose the power ur still wanna blend in. Temprol spec might be perfect if yhe ship is for a temprol agent

Yh that is what was reported as being the case. But. Now with timelines having a ISS Enterprise 1701 i wonder if things than changed. So we would b allowed the exeter / excaliber / vesper combo

and the Excalibur isn't a constitution so that's a non-issue. And before anyone dredges up the 'it looks like one' so does the Ent-C Ent-D and several other STO ships. And if the rumors of a JJPrize coming, similar to the rumors it will be a t6, than there is even LESS argument against a t6 Excalibur.
Hell just fancy up the skin(and required mesh) and I'll spend 300z to unlock it on a Galaxy or other similarly shaped toy.

The problem is Cryptic has repeatedly stated that the Excalibur/Exeter/Vesper are alternate skins for the Constitution Refit/T2 Cruiser, and as such, were (contractually) barred from becoming an endgame ship.
Don't expect anyone to post a link to it, as the statement was made so long ago, the links to it re-direct to the main forum page. Unless someone from the Cryptic team comes into this thread and repeats that statement, you will be unable to find an official word on it. And I highly doubt that they would as they are more than likely extremely tired of repeating themselves.
Keep in mind, I really like the Excalibur design and would love for it to become an alternate skin for an endgame ship (particularly for the Avenger/Arbiter) since they are extremely close in size.

The excaliber must be one of the most wanted ships ingame atm to last 31 pages. Geko said in a recent interview that there "wasent 1 yet" which i belueve to mean its being discussed and considered. The avanger / arbiter would be a nice fit
I just ignored him considering Ive been on these forums for years and never once seen the devs say that or anyone ever linking it/referencing it before now
