Tranya
1 oz Coconut Rum (Malibu probably works best)
1 oz Peachtree Schnapps
.25 oz Amaretto
2 oz Cranberry Juice
2 oz Pineapple Juice
Mix the Coco Rum, the Peach Schnapps, Cranberry and Pineapple Juices, over ice. Finally, float the Amaretto on the top and enjoy!

2. I believe he is referring to Kal Dano's timeship. It is the size of a small craft but uses battleship-level weapons, at least to 25th Century standards. Whether or not that is in anyway applicable for playable ships... nah I don't like that idea. The whole "inside is bigger than outside" is one of the least awesome sci-fi concepts I know of, sorry.
I can only agree with this statement.
It makes any ship designing process pointless, since you could use a call box as spaceship. How lazy is that? (i know the ship from ENT was supposed to be a Dr. Who reference, but anyway)
With a technology like that, one could put a deathstar into a VW Beetle, taking Sci Fi back into the realm of fairy tales.

Ok so to my understanding all the new tos ships are useable by the 'normal' fed faction. And the T6 ships can use there tos skins. If this is true this is the game changer weve been waiting for
Keep in mind that light cruiser is the designation for the starter ships the Miranda, Shir'kahr and Centaur.
Well aware, however, there is no reason it cannot be used for higher tier vessels. In fact its an area sorely lacking in the STO Fed arsenal. They have nimble zippys(escort), wallowing wales(cruisers), and wizards(sci). Something 1/2 way between zippy and whale but with a Eng/Tac focus instead of Sci would be cool imo. If it gets pilot seats, even better. Maybe say Lt Universal/Pilot, Lt and LtCmdr Eng, LtCmdr Tac, Ens Sci? (or even Lt Sci)
I would make the Cruiser [T6] more of a science-focused ship..y'know, a nod to her legacy as an exploration ship. Apart from that, it would be a refreshing change from the much larger and tactical-heavy "battleships" i.e. the Andromeda and Resolute that we currently have.
As far as BOff layout goes, I would have it LtCmdr Universal(/Pilot), Lt Tac(/Pilot), Ens Eng, Cmdr Eng, LtCmdr Sci. Maybe with a console setup [5 Eng/3 Sci/3 Tac] similar to the Yorktown [5 Eng/4 Sci/2 Tac].
To the rest to your comment, I agree..sadly, if CBS/Cryptic haven't come to a decision regarding this, we may never see another Cruiser (the actual ship, not the cruisers which we have too many of at endgame) in game.

Read 'Number Of The Beast' by R. A. Heinlein for TRIBBLE Deceiver, a vehicle exactly like you describe. Except better.

Um... it is kind of a dead horse. Been around long enough to see many of these threads.
For all intents and purposes, the Excalibur (and Exeter) are considered Connies, as they are members of the Connie line. As much as I would love to see them at endgame... I don't see it happening.
The could do what they did with the Celestial and Envoy parts from the T4 Galaxy - lock them out to higher tier ships, you can't use the Celestial or Envoy models as a base for the T5 Galaxy, although I don't think it has been explained why....not that it matters (this has likely already been said, just worded differently).
If u can use the tos skin on the t6 versions in the new faction then locking out skins becomes pointless
Except we have no correlating t6 ship like the Excalibur/Exeter/Connie atm. So we still need to watch for that, and the Excalibur is, honestly, the best candidate for this barring an Ent-J inspired pancake like the rest of the current t6 lineup
(...) you can't use the Celestial or Envoy models as a base for the T5 Galaxy, although I don't think it has been explained why....not that it matters (this has likely already been said, just worded differently).
Saucer separation. The Celestial and Envoy variants don't have a separatable saucer/animation and are thus locked out as if we're honest, there's no merit in putting work in those skins to make them separatable. The (new) Galaxy, Monarch and Venture variants are leagues better.

An excellent point, and one that I didn't know might I add. However, it still works as an example of parts being locked out.
Yh it does. Cryptic can lock any parts out of any tier. But with them saying that u can use yr tos skin on ur t6 starship is there really a point to locking the tos skin out? Thd daedlous class is older than the constitution class yet you will be able to use its tos skin at endgame.
I dont see any reson that they can say we can have the excaliber / vesper / constitution refit and exeter at endgame.
Mechanically there never was a reason, and unless CBS vetoed everything resembling the old Constitution/Refit classes there never was a legal hurdle there. This is why Nagus asked that question, and wants/wanted a Developer to answer. So we have it on file officially. If CBS explicitly said nothing like a connie, then so be it, just give us the answer. That said, they've got the Ent-C, Ent-D, and Ent-E in game and those are very much like a Connie so we know CBS never said that.

And also because those two designs don't exist. I've scrubbed my brain and eyes thoroughly with the most caustic of chemicals I can find (and I work in a lab so I have access to some very nasty stuff) and as a result the Galaxy has only the awesome looking Monarch, Venture, and Andromeda variants.

Comments like that generally mean "yes it's coming, but I'm not authorized to announce that yet", so I'm cautiously excited now, but the big question will be if the TMP and, most importantly at least for this thread, Excalibur parts will be available for kitbashing
To "he who shall not be named" but created this thread.
