Defiant Bundle Announcement

We’re excited to announce three new Tier 6 starships. The first is an enhanced version of the Tactical Escort Retrofit, called the Valiant Class Tactical Escort [T6]. This starship is available for Starfleet players at Vice Admiral rank. The second starship is the Kor Bird-of-Prey [T6], an improved version of the B’rel Bird-of-Prey Retrofit. This starship is available at Lieutenant General rank for Klingon players. Lastly, is the Malem Light Warbird [T6], which is an upgraded version of the T’varo Light Warbird Retrofit.

    Nice to hear that the Tactical Escort has received a new variant for use, and the Klingons and Romulans have new ships to add to their arsenal. This will be GLORIOUS.

    Please tell me the T6 Defiant getting a photon torpedo module is a type-o, photons on a ship that only ever used quantum torpedoes makes zero sense. I barely even touch Fed ships, but come on. Tell me it is really a Quantum Warhead Module and not photon.

    I expected the warhead module to be something for a nebula class. Could be interesting for an enhanced battle cloak strike though.

    Reserving judgement till the stats are revealed.​​
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    So Finaly those 3 Ships are announced (most of us allready know for a long time about them) now i really REALLY and i mean REALLY hope that they put a nice Boff / Console Layout on those, like getting AWAY from the old Defiants 3 Tac Station nonsense, i also really hope that the Valiant has integrated Cloack, since no one really uses that Useles Cloack Console anyway, the Phantom has it, the T6 Bob and the Malem in thie Bundle also dont need a Console to do that, so it would be only Fair that the Valiant shares that too, was sad enough that the Yamato needed that Console to have Cloack and to make it worse made it Part of a Set Part.....

    Lastly to be able to compete with Escorts like the Pilot Ships, a 5/2 Weapon Layout would be really nice, since 4/3 Escorts just dont cut it anymore, and the Pilot ships still have their Dodging ability that they can keep.

    I dont think that those things are unreasonable, and for me that would be a 100% Guarentee to buy the Full Cross Faction Bundle, if not and the Layouts will be just "slightly" improved Version of the T5s than i shal skip those, and that would be sad since i really was waiting for those, esspecially the T6 Defiant.

    I really want to thank whoever's idea it was to make the "Withering Barrage" trait in the new ships. FINALLY cannon weapons getting a little attention! o:)

    T6 B'rel....finally.
    The Re-Desgin is.....meh
    I hope the Stats worth it against Steroid-Borgs.
    Cloaking is useless since years vs NPCs
    There is currently no Megapower-Torp on KDF-Side available jet
    i'll buy it if the Performance better/equal the Pilotraptors...

    I too have a small bit of hope that was a misprint and that the defiant is getting a quantum torp module. Roms got something different for their plasma bombs.

    I would have much preferred some CRF benefit to go along with this.

    It's based off the original concept design by Jim Martin for what he named the Valiant, which eventually evolved into the Defiant we know and love.

    The Valiant is straight-up from the original draft designs of the Defiant for DS9. So we'll have "faithful reproductions" of the original draft, and the final version.

    While I welcome this, I simply can't buy ANY more ships until the Drydock system goes live. I have no more slots.

    Eh, not particularly keen on the Valiant's appearance.

    That said, I'm probably going to try and get it quick (so much for hoarding Zen...), especially if it has Pilot Maneuvers. (Which is a long shot, I know. :cry:)

    Edit: I also second the comments about the Valiant's torpedo module. Quantum or bust! :tongue:

    Looking forward to the new Defiant, have been ever since first hearing about it months ago.

    I just hope it has the stat's and the teeth to outmatch the already available Phantom and Pilot ships!

    Really annoyed that the KDF and Rom versions of the console are specifically nerfed compared to the fed one. Fed is any escort, KDF is 'only Birds of Prey', and Rom is the worst with 'only T'varo variants'- like, hello, lockbox ships? I have a Baltim on my Rom that I'd love to be able to stick the console on, thank you.

    I hope that torpedo console at least looks like the Defiant'S dual quantum torpedo launcher in blue-white colors, not photon torpedo launcher in red.

    ehm..just because you use your Escorts as Torp Boats means that those are Primarily used as such by the Majority? sorry but i disagree, speak for yourself. I Like that Trait even so i wish it would both affect CSV and CRF.

    And i too have to say.....Photon Torpedo Warhead?? cmon Guys, i cant remember that the Defiant EVER fired any Photons in the Show, this has to be a Quantum Console, so i hope that that was a Typo, mistake whatever. :o
