Wow did the forum format just changed?

I could swear that the way the page looks like just changed on me?

    yep, it did. and it looks wierd.

    My changed in the middle of switching threads.. I thought my browser was haven a fit,, apparently not.. I actually like this layout,, the colors ( black on black on,,, lighter black?) are nice.

    This format is awful...

    My eyes are bleeding from all the extra lines and huge amount of wasted empty space. Please just revert to the previous version.

    It's taking me a few minutes to adjust to the new look, but I think I like it. It's got more style!

    Yes, and it got even worse then it was before. Those working on these forums are clearly not graphic designers, and need to be retrained on how to make a good looking site. (Unless this is a limitation with the outdated forum software in which case perhaps investing in something from this century would help)

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    It's like a trend nowadays, to waste as much screen real estate as possible, add unnecessarily large buttons, and otherwise pretend nothing but tablets exist. The only thing missing is everything behind a flash or java interface that spoon feeds unnecessary information while graying the entire screen every time.

    Definitely not space-efficient. It's pretty noticeable on my phone (which admittedly I have configured to show the web version of the site and not the mobile one).

    My only real complaint is I can't easily tell what threads I've already clicked or not.

    Chopping out some of this dead space would be nice too.

    • Scrap current Lock Box & Lobi system for something more reasonable
    • Expand Dil and Rep/Fleet Marks to regular story content

    It just needs some seizure inducing strobe like images with brightly colored (reds and yellows are the best for this) with blinking text to go with this eye sore and the uglification of the forums will be complete.

    could we have the old layout, please? this one is not bad, but too many empty space and too dark. (dark grey would be perfect for me :p)

    I really like the new color palette but that's a strong point there. So much empty space and lines on all sides around each post. ><

    Agreed! This new style is far to blocky and hard on the eyes.

    Blinking text is no longer supported by Firefox at least, IIRC.


    I hope Asterelle gets on it ASAP and gives us a way back to the old style. Or at least one less s p a c i o u s.​​

    Threads with unread posts are bold. I wouldn't miss those yellow flags though, personally.

    Just getting rid of the 35px 35px 0px (<-- seriously PWE? 0px? )padding on ".comment .Item-BodyWrap" will do wonders.

    The new format makes it much more difficult to read IMO. Too much wasted space everywhere. The new colors are nice, but I'm colorblind so take that for what it's worth.
