Unable to get in game

in Windows and General: PC, Network, and Other Technical Issues
I tried to login, it was taking forever to get to character screen, then to load the character, finally I try logging in and it says failed login2. So I tried logging in with the arc launcher and it says updating, then it fails to update.
This has been one really bad day.
Any ideas?

    Ditto here. Had a hard time connecting yesterday but managed to log in after a few attempts. Tried continuously for half an hour just now with no success. Takes forever to load characters, but finally does, and then once I can finally click play, it hangs forever before login2_timeout and kicks me back to signin screen.

    My husband and I are also having these issues. I was in game fine no problem but sometime after 9pm EST I started getting Server Not Responding and then disconnecting repeatedly. Now I can't even get the launcher to load in any reasonable time.

    Same issues here. Was doing OK (not great) up until 22:15 EDT, then the game booted me.
    Now I can't get the loader to finish loading. Checked my system, my internet, and all the rest, but...

    Having issues now also. Launcher will not log me in and took 7 minutes to even get to the point of showing account name and password box. Prior to getting booted server kept timing out for 15-45 seconds over and over.
    My tracert looks fine no high pings or anything and did a ping -t command and was stable ping to server.
    Now after typing password it gets stuck saying "Loading launcher"

    Sent in an email just before I had to commute home. I'm checking from home right now. It looks like the issue is likely network and not server side. I'll keep you updated as I get more information.

    I was able to get to a point where I would've been able to play again, had I not uninstalled Arc to reinstall via steam. However, this is getting to a point where it is very annoying. For once I'd like to play without being disrupted or seeing lag in anything I try.

    At first I was looking at it from a regional perspective. It appeared as though this was exclusively a North America issue for access. Then after further investigation, it was kinda spread over the geo. I'm curious for any of you who were experiencing issues, can you please state the ISP that you were running through?

    and cant log in, i also had huge ping befor it disconnected me

    i just noticed, this is a whole 8hrs from the prev post, and they still didnt fix it :(

    I have Comcast in Utah. But today everything seems to be working normally, anyone else still having problems?

    At first it looked like it was a regional issue. This looked like something related to an ISP in particular. Routing goes through one network in the pings (Cogent) but then back travel goes through a different one (Internap). I'ma talk to the team about it.

    Check your traceroute. If you have high MS times it might just be timing out. That could be ISP related or something else.

    I believe it's specific routing with Comcast providers. Still pursuing currently.

    This might be very true, however captainpugwash1 is with Talk Talk in the UK.

    its starting again, same time as last night, server starts giving me 900+ ping and SNR pop up evey 10-20 secs

    4:30, 5, 6, 7, 8 all fine, 8:30 and after i get baaaad ping and massive lag / disconnects

    Seems i had to swich to a EU proxy (altho i live in the US) I get a steady (not great, i shouldnt have to deal with this ping) ping of 250, doesnt jump to 900+ every 10secs :/ by by 30 ping i guess

    another night, same issue, need to use the eu to even log in, if i try us, or none i get Login_timeout2 error
    really glad they are woking on fixing this issue.......

    even the eu server is acting crazy today, im getting 600 ping with it now
