Hi,
I came back to the game a few days ago and I noticed there is a new reward for veterans/lifetime : free ship upgrade token.
Where to claim it?
- In a console somewhere like the EV suit? No
- By talking to a npc like for the android boff? No
- Maybe in the C-store under Legacy Unlock like the career officer title? No
- Directly linked to your account, by making the first upgrade free? No
- Added to your inventory? No
- Maybe by mail linked to your account? No
- By mail, linked to the first char you are connecting? Yes
For my story, when I came back, I connected a char then deleted it. The token is gone with him. I have to say this is the most stupid reward system I ever saw.
And before someone ask, I contacted the support, here is the last reply :
Regretfully, since the reward is a Veteran Reward and its automatically rewarded we can't replicate it on the system. Also we are avoiding the character might be bugged if processed. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
Yes, it isn't the same as the C-store one so I can't get it back.
I have to say, after spent hundred $ in this game, I feel like betrayed.
I am from Belgium and english isn't my main language, sorry if I make mistakes.

The ship upgrade token is 800 day reward - 1 per account.

Then why the mail is linked to character and not to account?
Probably because the token is the same as any other token and wouldn't be account bound itself (it comes in a claim box which IS account bound), so you could create a new character, claim the token, sell it on the exchange, delete the character, repeat.
