new event ship???

Ok so i started the event quest but didnt notice straight away that it was not giving me the new breen carrier ship , it wants to give me the old breen ship i have put all my q pics on it already before i noticed some 849 . is this going to be fixed or am i going to miss out on the new ship because i was stupid and did what i was supposed to do and upgrade my old breen ship to t-u5.......

    why would i want the ship AGAIN i already have it , if i dont get the carrier i aint even gonna bother doing it all again its 1000 Q pics wasted which means the new ship has cost me 2000 q pics think ill just quit the game if i have to do what you say , its just not worth it any more ,

    Its only been running for 3 days so most folks will only be at 120/1000 photos anyway. Best thing to do is just start doing it on another toon until the bug with the Chel Grett is sorted, assuming this is the project you put it into. At least when the bug is sorted you may get a rebate of most of the photos. If it is the raider then you dont have it anyway so why not finish it off and get the carrier as well?

    i only have one toon , i already put 849 pics on it ............i already have the other 2 ships why do i want them againnnnn.......

    Lost Everything Placed On New Ship 849 Q Pics , Just To Get The New Ship To Show ( Had To Cancel The Event Quest ) , So How Do I Get My Pics Back All 849 , AND DONT SAY WRITE TO SUPPORT , SUPPORT SAID WRITE IT HERE.............

    I did the same thing, didn't notice till I put in the last 40 to finish it.

    C'est la vie...

    I've already started putting in Q-pics in the correct one, though I probably won't finish it till next year.

    so you chose the wrong project and put all your pictures in it?

    and how exactly is this a bug?

    If a genuine mistake a support ticket might have been your best bet to get the project changed to the current ship, however if you have since cancelled it I am not sure what they can do. Worth a shot anyway. Not going to get any movement by posting on the forums as it is a very specific issue - not a bug.

    Edit: Despite trying to be helpful above, your post really needed to be answered.

    are they even reading this ???? No. They are probably enjoying their winter break. why would they read this. it isnt a bug.

    It's unfortunate that you, praetor, chose the wrong selection of event ship & didn't realize sooner.

    However as, eiledon, stated that mistake doesn't constitute a "bug" in the game.

    This year's Winter Wonderland event does have some issues, but our failure to recognize our own missteps ... as you stated, praetor, "because I was stupid," I don't think qualifies for an in-game glitch.

    You just made a mistake.

    Then again there's the valid point being brought-up again with this event issue of why not have a refund option on the Reputation system?

    Having such an option wont hinder any player & would resolve any/all missteps.

    If it was some sort of Cryptic switch-a-roo tactic that would be one thing, but as you described it's not.

    i didnt pick the wrong event ship as always people jump on the thread and half read stuff , it was the ONLY ( AS IN ONE AND NO OTHER ) ship to choose from the same as last year when i chose the 2nd event ship there was no option to re-choose the 1st ship as i already had it.

    SO IF YOUR GONNA REPLY AT LEAST READ THE THREAD PROPERLY
