Yes 400 billion but think of it a bit like eve in how it started. With a smaller universe that expanded.
No one will be able to go to the furthest systems for a long time. Players will have to build up the resources to make those long jumps... and at some point build bases in between to get there. As the game lives for a few years slowly people will start pushing out into space. At least in theory and hopefully. We'll see.
As far as SC don't hold out to much hope man. Roberts is well known for his crazy large productions that fall on there face. In the past his games have only gotten finished when someone pushed him to get it done and stop spending money (early wing commander stuff)... or when they bought him out / kicked him out and did it themselves Starlancer was a warghog produced game with roberts name stuck on it... and freelancer was completed after MS bought him out and got rid of him. (suckers)

The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

And queuing as a group? Unless you've got 8+ peeps - remember when premades would roll the queues? Yeah. Like that. During peak hours anyways. There's no matchmaking in group.
Yep, no healing. One mistake and you might be out of it. Especially if you use a light. That said, it was once worse. I remember playing when hexa-PPC Stalkers were around - 1 minute in, unhurt, and suddenly my entire side torso gets blown off. Good times.
There's a heck of a grind if you want to play heavies and above, or Clans. At least the grind is PvP.
That said, it's still fun. But it's no PvP heaven either. If you do end up playing, however, look me up. Drop the '5' from my handle and you'll find me.
