crash to desktop loading screen

Lepers of STO, unite.

Crash to desktop has occurred.

Now, in the past, during patches and all that, I'm able to get past the loading screen and am told "can't connect". That's fine.

however I crashed, to desktop, like every other time they introduce an expansion or new season since LOR.

Crash error? 34318276
valid the files? get this: 34103134

Other errors:

35301504
#35704034


I'd wait off before re-commissioning the fleet until the server is up. However it doesn't look good.

Edit: The fleet is recommisioned! Come on in folks.


WARNING: Please keep it civil. There's no need to threaten the developers. They know the routine. They know what's wrong. It's a matter of priority and how long to find where they usually went wrong and fix it.

The developers would like to know, what card you're using. I know I know, it sounds like they're blaming us, as usual. However they need to know what our cards are to help devise a solution

    and now my display is all bright and shiny... sigh... every time...

    If someone could provide me a suggestion short of a reset, on restoring the screen brightness, that'd be appreciated.

    Yep every time. I reported this back a month or so ago along with a couple of others of our order. We were told they looked up the error number and our computers don't meet the requirements. So expect the same old line.

    got any ideas for the crash sigs let me know.

    I've been getting crashes every time I try to load the client. Can't get past the launch screen when the kernal crashes, this even happens in "safe mode".

    Welcome folks. I've turned on the heat and sent the notice and crash stuff. Please, there's cots here. The Kitchen is open 24/7. We will be here for at least two weeks.

    Soup of the day is hamster stew.

    if you valid the patch files, then try again, you get this error: 34103134

    I'm just wondering if Cryptic has upped the system requirements to run the game in full version and safe mode.

    No,

    actually they never explained why that error occurs. But they take a few weeks to get to it. I believe last time was 6 weeks.

    some people with the cards that meet the max requirements still can't get on.

    My system should be more than capable of handling STO, and it crashes after load screen.

    Hi..yep i get same error code 35301504. But mine sticks on Loading Screen. I have to go top right to get rid of it.Then i see the error box. It also says 3d DVD error
    We wait for weeks for the new content , and then cant even get in.:mad:

    This sucks. Especially since I have 300 Master Keys sitting in my inventory.

    It sucks, I know.

    But spread the word, keep complaining and we'll keep a polite but persistent pressure on the developers to fix this fast.

    when tribble is up, check it out, see if it works.

    Yep having the same problem. I get this every time there is a new expansion or season. You would think the developers would figure this out by now, lol.

    Oh well see you all in a couple of weeks when this hopefully gets fixed.

    I can get in and everything is ok until I try to bring up my "U" screen. Any interface interactions crash me to desktop

    Yeah, crashing after the initial Delta Rising loading screen.

    Congratulations, like legacy of romulus, now the same thing, crash, cant enter game :(:mad:

    Because Crypturd doesn't have a dev that can create a patch or update that won't prevent the game from crashing. If I didn't know better, I'd swear Cryptic was Microsoft in Disguise. Bill Gates would be proud.

    well i'm not crashing it's just freezing up at the delta rising loading screen.

    well, the freeze happens to me if I force verify. If I don't, it just crashes.

    It's an improvement from last season eh?

    crypticfrost said he's now aware of it and is working on a fix.

    So, give it a few days, probably thursday or next thursday.
