Asking people why they deliberately choose to go someplace where they know someone will do something to TRIBBLE them off isn't telling them not to go there.
Asking them why they don't use any of the over 20 other locations where you rarely see anyone using a party amp instead isn't telling them not to go there.
I'd have been happy with a simple' "I go there because I like the way [location] looks just, not the amps." but I never even got that much of a response.
No, the point is the opt out should have been free for those that refuse to use other locations, and it should have been there from day one.
Nope, not even close. See the response just above for why.
There is no place I can think of where the balls arent used?
ESD, DS9, Risa, SB39, Drazona... I can go on... So what places is it that you think people who don't want to be affected by the balls should f-off to according to you?
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

I have never seen a party ball on sb 39.
It's not myfault ifyoufeel trolledbymyDisco ball...Sorry'boutit.
if it was up to me they be removed from the game never saw Riker use one on away mission or any one from the movie or TV show and like the swimsuit they should all so be restricted to a party planet
Please quote where I ever said players should f-off to? Is the reason you are trying to portray me as telling people to f-off because you can't refute what I said?
No, I am trying to say that it is what I see you saying...
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
To answer your question though, yes that is where we are at. If you don't like something but chose to stay in a place that it is happening, when you have other options, then it is your own fault and I have no sympathy.
So from me "if you don't like it, f-off" or stfo.
Toddles.:D

See... that wasn't so hard was it..? All it took was a slight effort.

I just really think we need to all enjoy these last few days where we can all party together as one big family to the fullest extent possible, but then again I've always been kind of a romantic like that.
Meh... I don't think "romantic" is the word I would use about your association to the balls... More like... Nerd :P
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
If you aren't on one of those lists, y'all are just npc's to me.
I have special tabs for each...
Most of the time, I am in Fleet/tell/team mode, but on occation, I really like to see what arguments are presented for Person-X's contry is worse off then person-y's, or the interesting battles between Science-vs-god people... Thats when I swap to zone chat.

This is a decent solution, but I have to argue the cost at a quarter million latinum just creates another grind.
Thankfully, I have significant latinum on a few toons to acquire this device.

Also disco isn't dead. It went underground, and returned as house music.
It started it's comeback in Chicago warehouse parties in the 80's. Warehouse became house. House music evolved; it became sexy, tribal, jazzy, progressive and a dozen other varieties. It merged with electronic music and a whole new flavour was added.
It returned through raves and private parties. It gave birth to TIESTO and a multitude of others.
Disco didn't die. It became trendy and you just didn't notice.

No, I am trying to say that it is what I see you saying...
The more you say that, the less I see a problem with it.

Already exists: Right-click -> Ignore
Or just turn off zone/local chat. Works for me.
R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy
ignore is better
system Lord Baal is dead
Yea, but that also cuts you off, from all the fun discussions...
/ignore disco
/ignore life
/ignore joy
/em all alone
I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
All I have turned on are friends and fleet mates.
If you aren't on one of those lists, y'all are just npc's to me.
