Cartwright: You'd have to set do this when Amon is going to attack, when he is maneuvering his force to attack. If you spread it out, it will make it look like she is in three places, but he won't know where to strike, so he will have to strike three places.

Jessica, Seventeen, Krystal, we plug the holes that form till they get clogged by Alex's forces, then we disengage.

Cartwright: If we cna do this right, the Thanix mass barrage will open a hole that we can exploit. Hence why we are the Reserve. We have more seed and maneuverability, so we exploit the opening and get them to answer to our flank attacks/ When they do, it will slow their assaults, and we cna warp back intot he relative safety of the Box. We are Buford's Cavalry on the first day of Gettysburg. We want then to attack us piecemeal.

i spent 7 years learning about goblin rebellions and wars, or rather, i used those history lessons as a means to catch up on sleep or work on other assignments because the teacher was a ghost with a voice that could cure even the strongest case of insomnia, so i missed that particular history lesson...and every other mundane one - who was buford, and what was so special about his cavalry?​​

Ezri: Uncle Alex... the battle was a diversion. Provide what appears to be a threat to draw off the main force in hopes of sneaking in a smaller strike force that is the true threat. The Gungan army drew off the Droid army, leaving a token garrison in Theed which allowed for Amidala's Security force to sneak in and start wreaking havoc inside the city, free the pilots to attack the control ship, and move to capture the Viceroy.

Cartwright: It wasn't a diversion so much as stalling tactic, using the enemy's own arrogance against them. Even now, it takes time to get forces that are being moved to the battlefield and deployed into effective battle formation. Buford did a great job messing up the Confederates plans by giving up a fierce resistance till Reynold brought up the infanry. Our Idea is to break up thier battle formation as much as possible, and keeping Amon from using his greater numbers in conjunction with one another. Like Lee's idea for the Gettysburg campaign, take out the Union Army in sections before they could all support each other. Too bad for him, he had no clue where the Union Army until it was too late. We form a defensive posture, but prepare for limited spoiling attacks to keep them from coordinating. and hopefully survive.
