WTB a complete list showing which ships will count as what... and some idea if something similar will be happening for science ships or if they should be included in this cruiser revamp or what. i.e. what does a Vesta count as?
If there is more then 1 cruiser in a party and there using different powers do we get both buffs or only 1?
As I understand it you get both. You just don't get double-buffs if 2 Cruisers are using the same one.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
So Romulan ships don't get a thing? Why...? They basically have a couple of Battle Cruisers that are already kind of behind many other ships in the game, especially after the release of the Scimitar. Why not give D'deridex and Haapax these commands as well? Or at least two, like Strategic Maneuvering and some other one.
Also, are the FX of these abilities always on...? Because it may be kind of a mess with multiple cruisers, each with its own area circle around it all the time.
Oh, Avenger 5:3 weapon layout confirmed... *sigh* Now we know why it doesn't have a hangar...
Dumb question (addressed to Devs and Players alike): Which ships exactly constitute the Dreadnought class?
Obviously the Galaxy-X, and I'm assuming the Zen-Odyssey & Bortas'que are included. Would the free versions of the latter be counted too?
How about the "Vo'quv Dreadnought"? Admittedly, that's the NPC version, not the playable Carrier, but I'm curious nevertheless.
There are only three Dreadnoughts in game currently:
Warbirds do pay for there singularity powers with a -40 to your power Subsystems that is a significent nerf.
And in Addition as soon as you use a Singularity power you lose any extra power Bonus a singularity core would provide you the same if you would use the Batt clicky from a Fleet singularity all some small Details None warbirds with warpcores ain't have to worry about.
Haapax (Haakona) and D'deridex should have the cruiser toggles as they have the lowest turnrate for non carriers in game.
+1 for the Addition include the Ultra heavy warbirds aswell in the list.
Also, I suspect that the new KDF ship we're getting in early next year will be the 5/3 5 tac console battle cruiser the Klingons deserve.
Have to wonder about that...whether it would be the new ship...or if something like that wouldn't be done for the Fleet Assault Negh'Var that's been mentioned off and on.
if i had to guess, its selecting an always running passive, and you can select a new one on demand, putting the previous command on a short cooldown. am i right?
The Chel Grett has a Commander Tactical slot, it is an escort level ship.
I still want to ask about the JHEC. Why? What makes it different than somebody asking about the Chel Grett? The JHEC sports a Cmdr Tac as well...just like the HEC/FHEC. Thing is, both the HEC/FHEC (and Chel Grett for that matter) receive the Escort's +10% Bonus Defense. The JHEC does not.
How does the Bortas fit into the grand scheme of things?
I mean its listed in game as a battle cruiser, but it also has cruiser traits such as a full 4x device slots unlike other battle cruisers.
And it also has the highest amount of hull hitpoints of any KDF ship in the game.
Dreadnought class. Two times the size, three times the speed. Advanced weaponry. Modified for a minimal crew. Unlike most Federation vessels, it's built solely for combat.
Of these 3 Dreadnoughts, only the Dreadnought Cruiser (Galaxy-X) will receive the Cruiser Commands.

Nice, so the oddy gets all 4 and the Bortas(qu') 3 new abilities. Was a bit worried for a while. What about the LB/Lobi ships (Galor, D'Kora, Monbosh,...)?
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

I'd go as far as to say those singularity abilities are worthless considering -40 power level. Personally I just charge my singilarity meter to full and utilise the Elite Singularity Core bonus that gives me more power depending on the charge. None of the 5 abilities is remotely useful on my D'deridex, aside from perhaps Quantum Absorption, which I only use when near death. As such, an argument that "Warbirds have singularity powers" is void, as for some builds it is more of a drawback than a benefit. I honestly think Warbird Battle Cruisers (i.e. D'deridex and Haapax) should be given at least two of these powers - I vote for Strategic Maneuvering and Weapon System Efficiency.
Oh joy, another Fed ship. When is the KDF going to get some love. You guys wonder why no one plays KDF. Because you don't give two craps about them, and give all the goodies to feds. #1 reason why I haven't bought any new rommie ships, because you haven't made any effort to even the playing field with the KDF!

Heh, singularity powers are worthless? You need to get into PvP more often. Go fight a D'deridex popping Singularity jump every 15 seconds. After he blows you up, come back and tell me the ship isn't powerful. Anyone claiming that Singularity powers are useless isn't using their ship to the extent of it's potential. Singularity Jump is a free gravity well ability. Quantum absorption provides a very nice shield heal. Plasma shockwave is a great spam killer, it can also deal significant damage to players when buffed via particle generator consoles. Singularity overcharge assists with energy drain reduction. The only weak power is warp shadows.

The doors, Mister Scott!
It wasn't as clear cut as it is now.
The funniest part is that the devs gave "Cruisers" the aggro tank mode, that's their special bonus.
Also, are the FX of these abilities always on...? Because it may be kind of a mess with multiple cruisers, each with its own area circle around it all the time.
Oh, Avenger 5:3 weapon layout confirmed... *sigh* Now we know why it doesn't have a hangar...
dps class = cruisers and sci ships (fbp -if some other guy dares to try a apa strike) ....
escorts = nerf double tap ,nerf tac gdf .
new pve/pvp missions that require cruisers /sci ships = zero
yet they still cry about escorts and bug ships.
There are only three Dreadnoughts in game currently:

I'm guessing yes to the pets, but not sure about allied NPCs.
Daizen - Lvl 60 Tactical - Eclipse
Selia - Lvl 60 Tactical - Eclipse
Our Tor'khats just became more awesome...for free!

Including the Sci. one?

you mean the one we've been told has been in the works since 2012? Yeah I won't hold my breath.

[Q] what is the range of the AOE effect?
[Q] what is the duration of the commands?
[Q] what is the cooldown between commands?

*dusts off old Enterprise-E build*

Given that there's a fleet version that puts it in the "not a three pack" category, which points to 2k for the base T5 model.
Oh, so it only works on the one ship that's irredeemably terrible even with this buff, thanks guys.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
well, actually using AtB, technicians ad BFaW cruisers can easy have 18-20k dps, how much dps will have using "Command ? Weapon System Efficiency"?
Playing STO spamming FAW is like playing chess using always the computer's suggested moves
How long do the powers last once activated and what are the cool down times?
You didn't actually read the blog, did you?
actually cruiser are de facto so! 3 BFaW cruisers are enough to finish a cse in a while ( < 2 minutes to clear all cubes, optional included).
