I think that overall, the Tellarites are visually unappealing to the majority. In addition, most may probably not find their species to be interesting in general.

In regards to fur patterns, that's something that could profit from being a Star Trek game. We could get some fantasy patterns or the ability to apply different colors to different parts of the body to colour "boots" or ears. There could be a lot more to it than just add real patterns since, afte all, it's cait and not earth

Real patterns are a lot easier to add instead of new patterns first.
Well, they could do the real world patterns, but make the colors changeable for the alien feel.

My Caitian needs his uniform...the Holodeck ceremonial dress from Generations. How can it be that SWTOR came closer then STO in making it?? ok, u did make the gold lined boots for romulans...but it wasent romulans in that scene on the holodeck...it was Feds!

When it all comes down to it, I'd meet in the middle for some God damn hair. Like, if you put aside M'Ress being a Caitian, her defining physical attribute would be 'has really long hair'.

It would be overall better to link to the actual TAS footage, after all this IS what Cryptic should use. I made a thread with screencaps a while back here, but please don't post in there anymore.
