So since the Mine isn't on the map yet, we can't visit it? Or is there a shuttle from the starbase or something?
I just deleted my tribble installation yesterday to make room on my hdd... I'd really love it if someone could post stats for the armor/RCS/warp cores. Assuming it's possible to enter the mine somehow and take a look.
I am not sure about this new fleet holding. I would like to reserve judgment on it until we can get more details, but from what I am hearing, it is just simply a copy/paste of the embassy in regards to the costs. This seems like a completely pointless system, given how much dil and FMs upgrading that thing takes. Aside from some consoles that may or may not be worth it, wouldn't the dil and FMs I could spend on the dil mine to reduce the cost of il and FMs on other projects, just simply be better spent ON those other projects?
Sure, 90k or so is 90k or so. But really, thats still several hundreds of thousands I could have just spent on actual other projects.
If these new consoles/cores turn out to be quite impressive, then really this whole thing is a TRIBBLE sandwich/more painfully slow grind under the guise of "helping smaller fleets". Which, it really doesn't help us is any way and just simply ends up costing us much much more.
Again, I'll wait until it goes live to make my final critique, but from what it sounds like, it sounds like poo.
It's nice that you are adding new stuff and everything but could you also repair that what already exists?
I just checked Tribble and FED Romulans still can't use Duty Officer Recruitment console in New Romulus Command Center. It only allows us to exchange civilians cuz it only accepts them and KDF military DOFFs.
Stahl: "We really want to make it easier for small fleets. Just lower the price on everything"
Release Notes:
"More hidden sinks for rare doffs, no reliable way of acquiring them, nerfed mail storage is here to stay." AKA no help with doffs making it harder instead of easier.
New holding: spend 8.5 Mil Dil to save 2.5, if you do the Dil Mine first and start the embassy and base later.
Gee Stahl thanks for the help. As usual Cryptic seems to stay true to your intentions, like a ferengi with latinum alleriges and earmuffs.

Still don't see a damn bug fix for the jemhadar pet hangars. I am really getting tired of waiting. I had this ship almost a month and I haven't been able to use them. My sub is coming up on the 18th I wont pay if this bug isn't fixed by then.
I have to say that a lot of reported bugs like mail or lag have never been problems I have encountered so far. The lag I always had is due to my terrible internet provider.
But anyway, I would be really happy if in the next few weeks or month, the available resources would be put into bug fixing. And I don't mind if those fixes will be spread over a few month.
Especially those heavy tailor restrictions should be revised and loosened. I understand that Boffs like the Jem'Hadar or Breen and the rest of these in-mission reward Boffs can not be edited.
But I don't understand why we can't edit the bought Embassy Boffs. We pay Dilithium and Fleet Credits for them and now I have 2 Romulan Embassy Boffs who look the same.
And I would be very happy, when playing with my Romulan toon, to give my Federation Boffs (Human, Trill,..) at least the Alliance uniform parts.
Sry mate...were from two different worlds....u want to gind more? Build additional starbases and embassys if u want
Most people i know aggree in the point that pwe pushed the timesink-grind-ressoucesink-thing waaaaaaaaaaay too far ! Especially a kick in the peeep for pvpers...
But thats nothing new...
So I am from an other different world: I would pay real life money to get those Reputation Items.
I stopped active playing a time ago and I have become a passive collector.

Long shot, but I noticed an issue with me not being able to purchase the Galor's Spiral Waves from the dil store unless I had the Galor set as my current ship. Perhaps this is your problem? Is the Jem Ship set as current?

It should be at least visible at the store but greyed if the requesitions aren't fullfilled.
I have all three Jem'Hadar Ships, and the Attack Ship as current ship. It is a bug that has been confirmed some weeks ago.
Granted the discount is kind of disappointing after the preliminary announcements,...
...BUT:
They were going to introduce more Holdings from day 1. Basically at least one to cover every doff commendation.
That means, more will be introduced in the future.
Now, they could have just build open without providing a discount, but they did (and hopefully will increase the discount a bit after feedback).
So every new fleet will by completing the mine first save quite a sum on the main base, the embassy and at least two more holdings yet to come.
If you have already completed all teh other stuff, too bad, you won't benefit as much, but then you didn't really need the benefit as much as others.
Then we will get discounts on the stores as well, if I read the notes correctly. This will benefit every individual player.
So, yeah, if you want to take as much of an advantage as possible you need to stall other stuff and focus on the mine first which will take around 3-6 months depending on fleet size.
In the long run it could pay off, though to differing degrees.
That said, a cross holding embassy discount would be great if this stacks up with discounts from future holdings and maybe discounts by the embassy retroactively.
The embassy shouldn't provide discounts for dilithium, but since it's science based maybe for data samples for example and fleet marks?

It isnt just the dreads bug ship pets its the adv jem fighters missing also. I have my jem hec as current and i dont see the bug pets or the jem adv fighter pets either. My friend in a dread and has a bug ship cant see the jem dread elite bug pets in the fleet stores either so yep all jem pets not just bug pets are missing from dil and fleet stores atm. A dev knew this issue and said its fixed and should be out soon but theres been multiple patches since he said it was fixed and alot of us are wondering what the hold up is.
I want to move to my dread and buy 2 wings of dread bug pets but i cant cos there not available plus tbh i need to save another 15k dil first but thats not the point.

Nice idea and all, but that would also require them to be willing to back-step a bit and actually add in a DOFF discount.
Given the unwillingness to adress the primary doff issue (specializations bottlenecking non-dilith costing projects) when it's abundantly clear that Cryptic has the capacity to fix the problem (given the change to doffs in dilith-costing projects), I don't see a doff discount as being a likely addition.

Agreed.
Heck, at this point them actually changing the big 1k missions is even more unlikely. I mean, Zamorak forbid if every fleet is allowed to progress at a decent pace.
I have a feeling this is going to blow up in their faces when it reaches Holodeck. The reaction might be 'mild' right now, but if they release this as-is, without any changes onto the main game, I think it'll be quite the storm.

As you can see, I can only choose from civilians and sublieutenants. Because starfleet doffs don't have sublieutenant title i can exchange only civilians
Personally I'm pretty excited to see these new features but with these new duty officers and duty officer missions perhaps its time to raise the amount of assignments that can be running at once across the board, or release a c-store assignment upgrade (similar to the already existing roster upgrade). At the moment is it really even necessary to have the maximum of 400 slots to have 20 missions and a maximum of 10-16 active duty officers? Unless you're using the extra slots just for storage to contribute to fleet projects 400 seems excessive to what you can actually do.
I think a good way to implement the raising of the assignment slots would be to lump it together with a roster upgrade and sell it for x amount of zen, while offering still the two separate options for more zen total if bought separately.

The fix for them was to alter the 3 recruiter personal/consoles to work only with their faction and civilians. Not sure if intended or a mistake. But, now if your at SFA you can only reassign/exchange Fed Doffs and any Civilian. If your at Klingon Academy you can only reassign/exchange KDF Doffs and any Civilian. And if your at New Romulas Command you can only reassign/exchange Romulan Doffs and any Civilian.
When using any of the Recruiters I would have liked to be able to use any doff of my faction KDF/FED and any Romulan doff to be able to reassign/exchange.

this seems like a reason not to want romulan doffs, as it makes the fleet contact useless for them and involves 2 trips to either grind-up or grind down doffs.
I am not particularly pleased with these mandatory so-called "discounts". Firstly, they are not really "discounts". They, in fact, represent the LOSS of 9% of your fleet's FC income, on top of making the numbers really jagged and ugly, because, why *9*?
By reducing the sizes of the inputs for stuff that wasn't especially hard to come by in the first place, all you've really done is cut your fleet's ability to earn FC by 9%, because dumping in that TRIBBLE was how you earn FC to pay for doffs.
On top of that, because these "bonuses" are baked into the upgrades themselves, and not an explicit unlock you must purchase, there's no way to avoid them. We don't really WANT projects to consume less commodities or even less minerals. That's where we're getting our FC to pay for doffs from! It certainly won't benefit smaller fleets any at ALL. In fact, it benefits NO one, since the discount is so paltry that you will not actually save anything doing it, AND it will hurt FC income.
These "discounts" should be moved to a separate project that we can then not do, opting to continue to retain full prices so that members can actually earn FC.

Someone decided to put a giant magma rock over the location of the lobi crystal.
Someone didn't read the notes. You will not have access into the interior until you level the mine up once.
