Can't delete any of the dozens of messages from the Exchange telling me something sold! Why does the mail always get broken each Season?!? Why does it take so long to get fixed?!?
I made a ticket about it but I can't even connect to the Ticket System to post what the ticket # is here!
Man, Sooo many bugs crept back in from the past. BOFF assignments, pve queues, trays not saving and yeah, the freakin email system!! wtf. I bet if they removed the 100 item limit, all would be good again.
Here's something interesting...I was looking at mail and wanted to see about attachments. Looks like I can't send any attachments period. But, just for the heck of it, I send a message to myself. Guess what? I was able to delete it! But somehow the exchange messages are still not deleteable...WTF?
This is a EXTREMELY good question. And IMO it is WAY past time to get a dev response on this. This is the EXACT same bug that was here when the game launched 3 yrs ago. And it has reared its ugly head with some updates. I know that I and many thousands of other players would indeed like to at least get some kind of ball park idea when this is going to be patched. Thank you.

when can yall pls fix the mail bug and also been getting kicked out of pve ques. and this is what it says 19 out of 20 times u will be removed from the map in 5 secs fix this already
I've heard of players using the in game mail system to store large amounts of duty officers when their rosters get full.
Is it possible the reason why it's taking so long to fix is because Cryptic is trying to make sure the new 100 message limit doesn't make players lose any mail that has items attached to them?
If players who were storing items in the mail system lose a lot of stuff, I'm sure there's going to be a big uproar about it with some demanding some sort of compensation for the loss of their items and I think Cryptic may be trying to avoid that.
Thankfully all I have in the mail are the "you sold something in the exchange" messages piling up.:o
They should not of tinkered with the mail system and make the change go live until they had been dam certain that their was no bugs with said changes. I don't even like the idea of the mail change at all as I know most other people don't like it as well.
They're getting ready to add the new "Delete Mail Function" upgrade to the C-Store. This will be applied automatically to Gold accounts, but require a 1,000 Zen purchase by Silver accounts, if players wish to delete their mail.
Seriously, though, I hope they fix this fast!
Funny thing was, as I was looking for a thread like this I found the one I made on 7/26/2012 about the same thing! Can't delete mail after a big patch/new season. Some things never change... unfortunately.
Hi captains -- we are working on a fix and hope to have it out to you as soon as it's ready and confirmed to fix the bug.
Cheers,

Maybe also some clarification on this. So is it just a bug on the can't send or pull anything out of the mail or that plus the nerf on the say maximum of 20 mails with 5 doffs in it as an example.
If its just to fix the pulling items out of the mail or sending them out it would still be a disadvantage to the smaller fleets who heavily rely on the mail as storage when there hasn't been anything to address the lack of storage with the continuous pumping out of new items. Not saying putting out new content is a bad thing its just its the only way of storage after the limits of existing storage are surpassed.
I have a very simple request: fix my mail, please, so I can delete items again. And while you're at it, add a 'select all' button too, as I have like a zillion mails from the exchange, for all those keys I sold. And I'm sure I'm not the only one.
So, this is what I'm asking of you: simply fix my mail. Stop working on yet another expansion, and reserve 5 minutes, as a simple matter of courtesy, to fix a problem that's affecting many players.
If you play Champions or Neverwinter, you can delete your messages there. Otherwise, there's no workaround for this problem. Kind of strange that it doesn't work here.

Thought that in game mail was a important feature, everyone uses it. So why the no answer/delay?
Yea.. I'm just hoping for a response that they are aware it is an issue - we seem to be getting the silent treatment for such a large issue after a week of release.

Cryptic's idea of customer service is 'ignore them until they give up'.

Is this true?! If so, it's very appalling that Cryptic would let a bug that cripples a fundamental system go live.
They are always whining about server load, yet this bug that is rapidly increasing everyone's footprint is low priority?
Wonder what their excuse will be when their servers explode?

There's no way one isn't related to the other if the fix is taking this long. That's just adding 1 + 1 and getting 2 at this point.
Frankly it serves them right for not just being upfront about that sort of thing from the beginning. Electronic karma.

Your logic is flawed, so to speak, as Karma should affect the individuals that caused the problem. Instead, it is affecting the player base...

Guess that's too transparent and logical. I suspect it's something else, no one would deliberately annoy customers like that.

Sadly, it tends to work.
