Setting aside the fact that PWE and Cryptic are not the same thing, that the thread was not created by PWE, but a Cryptic Dev, I'm going to assume that your point is that this is an "Official Thread".
Well, to me, since PWE bought Cryptic, they're the same thing, but yes, it's their "official thread." They know it's a problem, make promises, but don't fix it.
I am sure they know these bugs all too well.. but have you people giving it much thought? well I have and have taken notice that this is consider a minor issue... unlike the rest of the bugs this one does not disrupt the gameplay and will be skip often by the dev's
each bug is sorted in categories from minor to critical. but I am sure most of you already know that... just thought mentioning again would give you people a clue as to why it has not been fixed yet.
Been a user of Perfect World Entertainment since 2009.
It still needs to be fixed. Some people here may have queued multiple costumes slots at the same time and both are bugged. Not able to cancel so they can't get the borg consoles, deflectors and etc.
I do not know if anyone has figured out how to get the MACO/Omega MK XII (possibly Dyson, Romulan, Nukara) Rep Armor to show the helmets.
Here was my problem, and my solution.
I have the full set of MACO MK X, XI, & XII. When I got the XII, it said to go to the tailor to put on the "Costume." I did. The helmet did not show up. -- To get the helmet to show up, if you look below where you would select what kind of costume you want to wear, you will see "HEAD, BODY, COSTUME". The Helmet is under HEAD, then in the Upper Right you should see/find a dropdown to include MACO/OMEGA. Then in the list below is HEAD TYPE. ......... The Helmets are under this listing.
If this post does not help you, then please just disregard. For those that turn in BUG's regarding "my helmet doesn't show up on my MK XII Armor... I hope this helps.
There have been many threads made on this subforum regarding the various apparent issues currently present in how Accolades associated with the Omega/STF Mk XI+ sets are tracked. Instead of responding to every one of those threads, please consider this your official update.
We're working on a dialogue option for Commander Roxy that may address some of these issues for players that have met Accolade completion parameters, but not received credit.
Basically, she'll attempt to reset all of your STF Accolades, and then manually check for Completion.
I have two copies of the accolade for getting a full set of Mk XII Omega ground gear. One is complete and credited to me, the other is showing all the pieces ticked off but is not credited as complete. I suspect this is because I got the first piece of Mk my Mk XII set just before the change to the rep system was implemented, and the other two pieces were made in the rep system. I'm not really complaining about it, it just looks a bit untidy, and it may be another variable to consider in this fix.

Any one remember how many pages the '700 day veteran thread' got to before cryptic finally made good on the promises they disavowed themselves of? I don't think we are any where close to that one yet. (if you don't know what I'm talking about you haven't been a member of this community long enough.)

And it's true this could have been a trivial issue..
if - it weren't for all of season 7, nuking stf and making us reputation grind, was exclusively rationalized by "saving 60 % time" on getting "the best items in the game".
Do you understand the current game structure is based on being able to buy the ground sets through reputation grinding ?
And I can quote it right now if you want, the blog is still up there.
I was one of those people who hated the reputation system from day 1.
I'd be in here showing people math on missing weapon powers, free weapon drops now costing 30,000 dil per one (and 5 weeks worth of time) and I got met with the same answer every single time:
"At least now we can get the ground sets"
People were willing to put up with it only because they could now get the ground sets.
See I never had a problem, stf was fine and I didn't want reputation grinding.
Ironically, now it seemingly appears that you can't fix the no. 1 issue with the game, wihout re-rolling season 7
I want so far as to ask GMs to delete all my accolades and reset my reputation willing to replay the whole thing, they just said no.
This was after I had to persuade them I knew you had to do a costume unlock project.
Being one of the people explaining it to others on the forum before it even came out, I found that midly insulting but rather took note that they know their system itself confuses people.
for some characters i only got one project like that. Don't know why.

I have purchased (via the rep store) all of the MACO and OMEGA uniform variants, however only one option is given for the OMEGA uniform and only 2 for the MACO.
I have done two seperate bug reports in game but have not recieved even an automated response.
Is there any limit to use the maco helmet?? are caitians supossed to be allowed to wear it??

NO COSTUME OPTION!!!
