NW has different defaults IIRC, but yeah it has those too.
what about adding the neurolithic pathogen that alternate future admiral janeway used on the borg queen, also what are the chances of getting alice kriege to do borg queen voice work....i ( and others i'm sure ) would like to hear alice kriege's distinctive voice again as the borg queen......
- fixing the annoying situation, when all incoming damage is applied all at once the nanosecond you evade to 10km+ from the damage owner(s), resulting in one shot death well beyond attacker's range. I can tell that by the lack of the FX animation, that occurs several seconds later with no damage floaters.
- fixing the damage being applied to be in sync with the FX. Almost all the time the plasma torp spread from the cigar shaped borg ships in Hive Onslaught hit for 60k without the animation of incoming spread, thus the captain can't take precautions like BfI, EPTS and/or TT. The spread shows up ~ 6-7 seconds after the damage has been applied.
- fixing the character window (space) when pressing the U key to default to the active ship instead of the shuttle.
-fixing the repair injuries window to default to the active ship, rather than the shuttle or the current target (like a borg Cube). Also the repair confirmation button that dims the screen is annoyingly redundant. Ofc I want to repair the ship... That's the point.
Yup. The launcher isn't starting, leaving me unable to get back on tribble after that booted me about half an hour ago..
This latest patch is much better imo. Bugfixes!

The Scimitar's behavior has been extensively reworked to create a more dangerous and unpredictable encounter.
This also resolved an issue that caused it to not re-cloak for extended periods of time.
I hope this doesn't mean Donatra goes back to cloaking every 30 seconds like she used to, basically making her invulnerable to low dps groups. Drawing her aggro and maintaining distance is a useful tactic to keep her uncloaked while the rest of the team pound on her, even low dps teams could bring her down without it taking an hour to do so (yes, there was a time when she cloaked so frequently that a khitomer stf could easily last an hour).
Well, sad to see that despitet some otherwise positive comments the thread is going down the usual route now. Or, to quote TheMarie's classic post:

My feelings as well, I fail to see how this is a nerf. Although I must say, on the ground I'm glad that our own mortars and grenades do not currently damage us as well

Yes, they should. Easy enough to avoid what with the big blue and red circles. And yeah, plasma torps/mines can hurt you if too close, that's what makes tanking the tac cube such a good idea as you can get it to wallop itself. Not sure if TC torps do friendly fire, but they should as well.
well if they are gonna make that scimitar tougher what happens when 2 people quit ....then everyone HAS to quit and take a ban?
perhaps adding a timer to that so at least you go 20 minutes or something and that happens then you don't get a ban. I say this mostly now for others because organized groups of people now sit in chat channels where this happens almost never now.... BUT new players wont have that luxury till they get invited.
and me and another guy alone took out the scimitar BUT i fear that making it harder that could never have happened...and you know when you get angry and fly full speed and use evasive manuevers and tractors and everything you can like a crazy person it seems to work more....
In the future, you guys might want to think about putting up some kind of re-direct or announcement when you are taking everything off-line. For me at least, everything, even the STO website is gone, and there are no maintenance announcements or anything.
It's quite jarring to just find the servers completely gone with no explanation until I came here.

where it is saying that they add AOE damage? it allready does AOE dmg. the patch only makes it to hit you too. so it is a nerf!
i don't care about realism in games. all i care is the gameplay.

They're probably doing maintenance on the launcher - the server doesn't come back up for 2 hours so relax and wait!
