Are you kidding? The Fuzzyprize looks like two ships clamped together.
I'm assuming if they made it, it would probably split into saucer/nacelles and boat... and maybe the pylons would lower and the saucer/nacelle part would turn upside down in combat mode, raising the question of which side is up for people inside the ship. :-)
FUZZYPRISE IS THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE ANSWER.
srsly though. I can think of one small transformation it could utilize.
So how in this huge jpg, the huge panoramic shuttlebay door is open, but in this one, it's shuttered? And how there's even a nifty little flight control tower dealy just above it?
Imagine if you will a Science ship with a Cruiser lean that is in all ways a Science ship. Now imagine that, with a console button press, you could sacrifice, say, 10 power to Weapons and Engines to engage a "carrier mode" that would allow it to function as though it were a "flight deck" ship.
Obviously the exact sacrifice would be different, that was just an out-of-thin-air grab. But in essence it switches modes from an average science cruiser to a sliiightly sub-optimal flight deck cruiser.
Not that I really want more carriers fedside, IMO the Akira and Atrox are plenty, but it's an idea.
Yet Another Edit: If I had my way it'd be a Science ship with a Tac lean like I think the Vesta should be, only without the cannons and with the inclusion of an offensive console, something like "Graviton Warhead" that upgrades the next torpedo attack so that when it blows it leaves behind a gimped Gravity Well with all the hold but none of the damage. 3min cooldown. I only proposed the Sci/Cru mode-changing carrier because it fits the bill we were given.
I hope the Klingon version has a cloak, since the Krenn doesn't (and if the Klingon version has a cloak, the Fed version should take the cloaking device console if the player has one).

If the Veteran ship is the "Fuzzyprise" I would be extremely happy. It was by far my favorite entry from the DTNE contest. I could stare at the pictures on the site Jexsam linked for hours.

So if the Fuzzyprise is the Fed ship, what do the KDF get? There were not any KDF ships in the DTNE contest. And which of the DTNE submissions had movement incorporated in the design?
I would think the two faction ship variants would be roughly "equal" although of different hull design in keeping with the factions design tendencies.

Did they confirm that it would be based on a contest design? Because Vektor has ALSO designed a very nice updated Constitution class ship... just saying.

Although I like certain design elements for this ship, I do find it lacking & ugly overall. The bottom portion of the ship is just hideous. It's clearly a remake of the Excelsior class which honestly looks more modern & better then this.

Ah well... Maybe its going to be the prickly gun-bristling Birok raptor looking Autocannon with an engine and armor of my dreams, a Destroyer-sized Klingon A-10 Thunderbolt. Or a more darty, upgraded Guramba... or... mrrr... what is it, man!!!

Well, the Moebius is also a destroyer, and I am hope that they followed that template rather than the Aquarius. We will see next week on Priority One.

That sure looked like a non-denial to me. If it is, I will be happy, I like that design - it's like an evolution of the Advanced and Patrol escorts.

Fair point. Logan worked miracles with the original concept, turning something mediocre into one sleek, gorgeous example of hotness.
Both the Vektorprise and the Fuzzyprise could probably be sex'd up somethin' fierce with the white hull and a 2409 sleek-job.
