I am playing the new Klingon missions on Tribble. The starting ones are pretty cool. Will now commence the Nimbus arc!
SPOILERS!
1. I transferred Canelow so I couldn't play the startup tutorial, but from what I understood in the first post-tutorial missions, the tutorial involves the test in the Warrior's Hall (you possibly get recruited to another ship, instead of getting access to one), the capturing of a Romulan prisoner (see later spoilers), a treacherous Klingon captain (your captain) and you, with his first officer, fighting him. The first officer gets killed, you kill the captain and get command!
2. The husband of the killed first officer joins your crew after you save him from treacherous Nausicaans! A prison guard of Qo'noS prison also joins you later!
3. There is a secret Federation base on Qo'noS! There also seem to be teacherous Orions, Nausicaans and Klingons in the Federation base. That could be just a modelling error but judging from the story it probably isn't!
4. The Romulan prisoner is actually Franklin Drake!
5. You track Drake down to Rura Penthe, where the guards are from the House of Torg!
6. You get a temporary Jackal Mastiff inside Rura Penthe. I'm not sure if the mission can progress without it, but if you don't take it you will not be able to track Drake later! You need to protect it from wild Jackal Mastiffs too, because I'm not sure of what happens if it dies!
7. One of the prisoners in Rura Penthe is a diplomat who was imprisoned for wanting peace within the Houses!
8. Drake tells you of a House's plot for war, which is obviously Torg!
9. The final mission in the first arc "Empire" is not playable yet!
Specialist ranks have been consolidated into a single rank, Resident.
All current elites will now become Lead Hunters.
All ranks up to Beta Shadowcat will be automatic once you reach certain objectives.
Alpha Shadowcat will be a "Master-lite" rank and only certain fleet members will be promoted to it (so don't ask).
No new Masters (for a while). Fewer people touching the "delete" button, the better.
All members will be put in the approriate rank (so for some of you, that will result in a slight promotion)
New Rank Structure (requirement):
Cub (Join fleet)
Resident (In Fleet 7 Days)
Hunter (In Fleet 30 Days + 25,000 Starbase FC OR 15,000 Embassy FC)
Lead Hunter (In Fleet 60 Days + 50,000 Starbase FC OR 40,000 Embassy FC)
Beta Shadowcat (In Fleet 180 Days + 1,000,000 Starbase FC OR 750,000 Embassy FC)
Alpha Shadowcat (Proven trust or former Master; if you have to ask you probably don't qualify)
Master (Not going to happen.... don't ask)
Order of change:
Ranks renamed.
All members "demoted" to appropriate rank (everyone is out of place compared to the new system. Demotion is in name only)
All priveleges of rank restored in new location.
I expect to have this completed before Legacy of Romulus launches.
Thanks for your patience.
Bob

Due to the spoilers, The 1st did not read this. I will probably wait for it to go live, but I'm not sure.

Okay, I haven't offered any feedback but since this is the final version I will. New rank system is better. Names remind me a bit too much of Hirogen but since I can't come up with anything better I say keep them until some other proposal comes along.

As an Elite I give a thumbs up!
The first four ranks are modeled after the hierarchy of lion prides. The Alpha and Beta are terms used to organize leadership in multi-cat households and Master is what it is.

Should have called the masters Shadow Lion Kings XD.
don't do that...do you realize how much detrius something that big could spread all over the atlai?! Those romulans would still be cleaning up the jelly 2 years from now
we have to repair their broken shuttles, collect their water samples, kill their insect swarms, fight off their enemies...and you think they're going to do the cleaning up?!
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.

If they want to get the cat smell out they will, otherwise I claim new Romulus in the name of the FSF... I've peed in every single corner on the planet, so that makes it mine, unless they clean it up...

Don't forget that we have to force them to do work that will benefit them, collect plants, study ruins they are interested in and tag/observe/kill native wildlife...
Not to mention ignoring the urge to just throw a live grenade into that giant octopus's mouth.
According to the Romulan Researcher at the Atlai, Feds call the Nanov river pigs (which he hates) so imagine what he would say if you called them octopi! (and said you wanted to use [Tactical Kit - Grenade Satchel Mk X] on them)

That thing killing you was the shockwave it fires after the absorption phase is over.
That was a fun match.
Nope, peed there too
