OoC: Its pretty much par for the course for Cryptic, It took them 2 years 2 YEARS to fix the bug that removed the account reclaimable combat horta from the zen store. And they still haven't fixed the graphical glitches on the Korath uniform I paid good money for.

    Jane: Agreed.

    *Dawn.*

Zoe: Don't think of it as adding pressure on her. Right now you're hurting, and Karen can't help because you're not talking about it. And maybe she wants to help.

*Tora Ziyal. Sara counter-charges and tries to push Susan back.*

Ooc: yeah I’m pretty upset right now and looking where I can file a complaint on them. Anyway I’ll post a little later not feeling great right now.

Zoe: I mean... you need to get this out sometime, Ser'. Otherwise it's just going to keep bubbling up inside you until you decide to take it out on the wrong person... Like I did.

Harper is in the bridge watching the holo display and deploying UNSC ships.

Harper: what’s the status of the reserve fleet?

GAR: 125 ships along with one infinity class have taken up position behind the main allied fleet about 10 min behind to help pick off any ships that might make it through.

Harper: very good. I want battle groups A and E to deploy along this front line here as they have lighter and faster ships. The rest bulk up the main line. Let’s try to let other allied ships provide more cover and arcs of fire as they are more manuverable.

    GAR: aye sir.

A moment later a captain walks up to the display area.

Milo: admiral we have just received sensor data on the undine fleet. They should arrive here in 20 hours.

Harper: very well send a message to the other fleet commanders and let them know. Deploy as many defense satellites and mines as possible.

    Milo: aye sir.

*R.S.S. Resolute. Hargrove is on the Bridge.*

Ops: Admiral, Admiral Harper is signalling. Enemy contact in 20 hours.

Hargrove: How are we doing with the nanite warheads?

Ops: Captain Santiago estimates we're approximately 40% stocked.

Hargrove: Tell all ships to divert power from their ftl systems to replicators. We need to speed this up.

    Ops: Yes sir, but...

    *He trails off.*

    Hargrove: Yes, lieutenant?

Ops: If we take the fold-space and warp drives offline, we won't be able to retreat if we get overwhelmed.

*Hargrove looks around, noticing the rest of the bridge crew are waiting for his response, thinking the same thing.*

Hargrove: Lieutenant, if we don't at the very least blunt the Undine assault, running won't make a difference.

I know you're all worried. You're scared. That's okay. Fear is normal. It's what's going to keep you alive. No one wants to die.

But you should all know that we're all that stands between that Undine armada and Trillions of innocent people living across a hundred worlds. We are their only defence. If we fail here, there is no second line - no do-overs. I won't say the stakes couldn't be higher. I fought the Eblisi. But I promise you, this battle is no less important. Our victory here will mean the difference between life and death for billions. They are watching, waiting, and praying, for us to prevail. If we die, we die for them. If our deaths mean even one of those planets survives, then they'll have been worth it.

I'm asking you to be prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice, but for the ultimate cause: life itself. And those other ships out there; Federation, Klingon, UNSC? They're fighting for the same thing. Even though some of us were shooting at each other just a few weeks ago. Today we stand as one. We are drawing a line against the darkness, and we will hold that line even if we die on it!

Bridge crew *in unison*: Sir, yes sir!

Hargrove: Now let's get those warheads finished and make the Undine regret ever setting foot in our Galaxy!

Ooc: nice feels a lot similar to a cutscene I was watching earlier

Janeway walks into the bridge having received Harpers message.

    Stahl: sir

    Janeway: captain what’s our status?

Stahl: we are loading and producing warheads as fast as we can sir. Good. I want you to assign our escorts to the enterprise.

    Stahl: sir?

Janeway: I plan on surviving this battle captain don’t worry. But it’s even more important the enterprise do as well. When this is over we will need them to close the undine off for good.

    Stahl: understood sir.

Janeway nods as he sits down.

    Meanwhile

R’tas is aboard his command ship sitting down in a garden like area. A few statues sit on stands as purple and blue fire burns beneath them.

R’tas quietly whispers a sanghelli battle prayer. Once done he leaves for the bridge.

Vosi Dax: So its come down to this. Is every Enterprise captain destined to go to war at some point? Whatever happened to "Boldy Going"? Ridiculous. *she sighs looking at her computer, voicing her captain's log* Well now we must arm ourselves for conflict with the undine. And after them the sphere builder's. Command has secretely been preparing us for the battle for hundreds of years, ever since they tried to wipe the federation from existence. And I know the enterprise has to be there for us to win... but what if by being here we change things and the enterprise dies and the federation falls? *she holds her hands together, elbows on desk* I can't think like that. I've fought alongside klingon Sahara masters, faced down the dominion, my symbiote has seen so much. I will make sure the enterprise survives the undine, and the federation will stand stalwart against any invaders, whether they be from fluidic space or outside time. Computer end log. *she stands up and dust herself off, heading out onto the bridge* Number one. *she smiles softly everytime she says it, faint memories of a past life and some friends drifting into her thoughts* Divert power from the transporters and our emergency capacitors to increase production and prepare to launch frigates in case the undine get here before we're ready. Then we go to stop a war.

OoC: Funny thing is, we don't even need an excuse for the sphere builder's being made in this universe, since the ones in sto are attacking various universes in the multiverse

Serah: I mean... I don't really remember you holding in your anger at all. *she smiles teasingly*

    ***

*She manages to get the body scissor but not the close guard as Susan keeps struggling against her*

*Eve does the same and takes off, leading the way. After a few miles they start seeing the signs of the temporal distortion, random spots of the dessert being covered in lush seas, or being filled with icy lakes from a long forgotten ice age. They eventually see the source of the distortion, it's actually 2 ship, what appears to be a Wells, and a Daemosh. Though from the strange lights emitting from many fractures it's obvious which one is the source. The wells is damaged too, but it appears to be from the Daemosh ramming into it.*

Eve: Great, we get 2 troubles for the price of one. We'll have to overload the power core on the Daemosh if we can reach it to destroy it and the nna'kuhl, but I don't know if I want to deal with the 29th century federation. Romulans, Klingons, humans, Jem'hadar, it's practically a grab bag of troublesome species. *she sighs before they hear a loud horn, something like what an air raid siren, but much deeper with more bass and they see an absolutely giant mechanical beast scouring the Daemosh moving around, its several stories tall, a big read eye on a bowl like head looking around at the ship below it.* I guess that explains the cyborgs... it's probably some synthetics got ahold of future tech. The last time that happened we got a mobile hologram and a super borg.

    ONI prowler

Carter is sitting on the bridge as he looks over the sensor data as it’s relayed to the main fleet.

Carter: have they seen us yet?

Agent: no sir. That or they don’t seem to care if they have.

Carter: very well. Get one last scan then I want full engine power to get us out of here.

    Agent: aye sir.

Carter sits back looking at the screen as they take one last scan before heading away.

Bridger: I believe we have evidence that ONI and section 31 may have illegal operations going on in Pegasus.

Osman: well that doesn’t surprise me but what do we mean illegal. In our line of work a lot of things that are done are considered illegal.

    Bridger: genetic experiments.

Osman let’s out a sigh as she takes a long drink of her coffee.

Osman: how sure are you about this.

Bridger: pretty positive. I can get more details but I figured I’d better talk to you before going in and looking into it.

Osman: alright. You have the go ahead but be discreet and try not to cause an incident. We have enough going on for now let’s try not to start a private little war.

Bridger: hey your talking to someone who can look like anything or anyone. I think I can blend in.

Osman: alright alright. Be careful and keep me updated.

Bridger nods as he walks out.

OoC: Sorry, my internet has gone to TRIBBLE lately. I'm planning on buying a new router and modem and upgrading my internet to fiber optic on black friday.

Ooc: was waiting to hear back from Mayo Clinic to get in to find out what is wrong and all health wise and why I can’t do normal things and work. Well they called and now that I don’t have insurance I would have to pay 5k just to be able to be seen. So just super frustrated right now since I haven’t had income for about 5 months now and then this happened.

OOC: That sucks man. Isn't there any way you can at least get a consultation with a chemist or something? In Britain, most pharmacies offer consultations where you can speak to the pharmacist without needing an appointment (GPs have ridiculously low availability. If I don't call for an appointment at 08:00 on the dot, all the slots are filled before I can even get through to a receptionist.) Pharmacists can't do diagnoses or issue prescriptions, but can advise on health issues and recommend remedies that aren't prescription-only. Obviously in the UK a consultation is free (pharmacy staff have to be NHS-registered) so even if they have them in the US, I wouldn't know if it would be a viable option cost-wise...

Harper walks onto the bridge as Milk is by the display screen.

Milo: sir we have the undine fleet on primary sensors. They will arrive here in 2 hours.

Harper: bring all ships to red alert. Launch all remaining fighters and bombers. Alert the other ships and prepare all forces for combat.

As the alarms sound the crew jumps into action as orders are related and ships start getting into position.
