STO Launcher crashes at login!

    Same problem here, no trouble yesterday and today crash. Tried it twice to no avail.

    It logged in just fine when I got on tribble. Now it crashes as soon as I try to login to holodeck.

    I like all these people sudenly found after being out today that I can not run STO launcher through steam where I bought it. I enter my password and the game crashes. Instantly and every single time. Verifying cashe files did nothing. restarting steam and my PC did nothing. Running in admin mod and Disabling firewalls did nothing

    you guys are lucky i can't even get to the login it stalls either on patching the login or i get a whitepage.. and also the forum loading takes forever or either timeouts

    I also have 2 accounts in the same household, 1 paid and 1 free for the roomie. Neither system loads the game after login.

    First - happy I'm not the only one, meaning they (Cryptic) will likely do something to fix this. Upset because this wasn't caught...

    WTF? ANy responses from Cryptic?

    Yep this is happening to me as well. I had just logged off for a moment and tried to log back in, and nothing.

    I guess there is a bug somewhere.

    Same thing here. I tried twice and it crashed right after login.
    I cant even get into the launcher long enough to update anything.
    I was on last night at 1am and everything worked fine.

    Dxdiag showed no problems.

    Yeah same thing happening to me as well. Crashes after I enter my password.

    It's nothing going wrong on my end. I was just in game 30 minutes ago.

    I'm having the SAME trouble! I'm a lifetime member but also have a f2p account. My lifetime account crashes every time I click engage but my f2p account is able to long in with no trouble. I've sent a ticket to the support team so hopefully something will get fixed soon.

    I've tried verifying my Cache...defragging game files...running as Admin, turning off firewalls. It's not an issue on my end. its derpcryptic.

    Has anyone here gotten this problem and NOT applied the latest tribble patch before this issue showed up?

    I was on Tribble less than twenty minutes ago, when I tried to get back onto Holodeck I got this error message and the Cryptic error reporter.
    I sent in an error report, report number is #11484446

    Yep, exactly the same as what you're describing. Even completely uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled. Still does the same thing. Guessing it's not on our end.

    having the same issue.... the launcher crashes. I was on a couple of hours before with no issue.

    Also tried connecting thru the game client and skipping the launcher... game starts but the account server wont connect
